Let me, first of all, correct you on the matter. By releasing Hafiz Saeed and by freezing his bank accounts, Pakistan is fully compliant with UNSCR on the matter.

Moving on to your intent of asking the question, do you want a logical reply or a political one?

The logical reply is that Hafiz Saeed has been designated a terrorist by UN merely because of India, with US assistance. And GoP did nothing to defend him. There is no proof, and I mean none that can be taken to an arbitration court, which would designate HS a terrorist if HS is given a chance to defend himself. I have been stating at various forums that we should either defend HS and get his name off UNSCR or try him as per proof available against him. I believe that GoP is now going to defend him. Furthermore, HS was indeed tried by Pakistani courts and was let go because of lack of evidence which means he was found NOT guilty!

The political reply is that Narender Modi too was considered a terrorist by the US but became a pet pal when he became India's PM. Accordingly, if HS becomes PM of Pakistan he too would be cleansed of all 'evil' titles. Not just this, most of the world including China, Russia, Europe, England and the Middle East is sympathetic to Pakistan's plights and gives no shit about Indian propaganda.
