you guys don't answer my questions.. how is it possible there are no stereotypes of these ethnic groups in mirpur and sialkot? like in jammu, kashmiris are stereotyped as cowards, gujjars are dirty, mirpuris are backward, dogras are dangar (stupid), punjabis as cunning etc...

yep u kind of got it there mirpuris lolz n pothwaris backwardness is best but its language issue to comical. mirpuir /pothwari are not that political but mostly farmer n comical like type but can be tempered very easily when family issues or sports / land too.
mirpuri/pothwari drugs dealers / Punjabi fraudsters. lolz gujjars there mirpuri/pothwar types as well they known for family all out war with their own.

View of Jammu from Sialkot: (You can guess how close they are)

i know jammu is very close to sialkot. i have seen the border. i am originally from udhampur though which is not that close to sialkot

. . .
It depends on region. Where I was born, we fought Gujjars many times. We don't live far away from each other, but I made couple of outstanding friends that are Gujjar.

we have a place in jammu called "gujjar nagar". it is full of gujjars. btw it is kind of racist but in jammu and in kashmir, telling someone they look like a gujjar is considered to be a major insult! don't get offended gujjars! i am just saying common thinking in these regions.

Like I said, it depends on the area. In my area Gujjars are not looked at in good way. But that is also ignorance.

ahhhhh.....Sialkot. The city of hard work and industry.

it's as Punjabi as it can get. But since a lot of industry and textiles and other businesses are based there, many land-owners and other entrepreneurs and merchants from other parts of Pakistan migrated there at some point over all these years...so i would imagine that mainstream Urdu is also spoken as well.

mostly those 2 languages.

Punjabi itself has so many dialects.....in every village there is different dialect; this phenomenon exists in many countries. I would imagine that maybe even you have German and English speakers --since these are 2 countries where Sialkot exports a lot of surgical equipments (one of the world's top producers)
