As my understanding and thoughts are as of today, I have a Pakistani passport and a National Identification Card, but Pakistan is not my nation. I'm a Muslim, and I won't have a nation-state until the shari3a rules and The State is established. I'm a Jew without his Promised Land. I'm a traveler in the world and an immigrant in a country. This means that I will assure that no harm comes to Pakistan or any country of my dwelling through me.

...and still it hurts when bad things happen to Pakistan, although I'm working on it.

In my opinion patrotism toiwards whatever country you are from is as difficult to define as love..
You cant really define it,and you can't say why...its just there.
