Pakistan needs a directly elected prime minister or president and directly elected chief minister in every province and directly elected Mayor in every city. And directly elected senators and members of national and provincial assemblies
In short a group of “patriotic and selfless people” whose only aim is to devote the rest of their lives for the betterment of the Country without any accolades from anyone … similar leaders during “tehreek e azaadi e Pakistan” … ahhhh a dream…lakin dekhney mein kiya harj hey … kiya pata sach hojayey …

Not on the list but I think a “United Federation of planets” style of government sounds good. At least On theoretical terms.

One party system bit like in China, where both Civilian and establishment share the power, it will bring unison in the country

Parliamentary. There is no role for any other non elected entity. Only elected representatives can form policies and govern.

Pakistan always had issues because whenever a new government comes, they will start from scratch or will not continue the successful policies of the previous governments. This sends us many years back and decades behind since Pakistan was formed. The current system is not bad because It suits Pakistan, its a large country and the people want the power in their own regions with representives in the parliament, however Pakistan has failed to evolve its governmental system. If people are highly educated, honest and care about their country then our current system would be working just fine.

Pakistan needs a new branch in their system, a state authority branch with the military, government, specialist/expert people running the countries main policies in team with the new elected government. Ie Education authority will have professors, Health authority will have highly educated doctors, Defence and security authority will have military people. The government can be formed to carry out projects with the state authority ministers input. Any new government chosen ministers can be part of the team. Similar to the National Command created to counter terrorism, imagine the National Command having branches in education, Police etc. This way you will have high specialist people working on long term policies on all state branches and the new government will have its ministers becoming part of it. They will get serious input on how the long term policies will benefit the country. The state authority team members also have reserves seat in the parliament with special powers given to them. The agreed policies will be passed by the Parliament.

The government will have the power to debate and challenge if their policy is better as the PM, and all branches of ministers will be part of this one team once they are elected, but the specialist people will also have the power to debate if some lota minister is the government minister.

Pakistan can become strong this way. The government people will also know that being a minister and making stupid policies is not a walk in the park.

A very feasible and workable option…

I forgot to mention that in a Country where you get votes for a “plate of biryani”, where “moroosi syasat” is still exist and supported by masses bringing a new/fresh face in politics who is honest and competent and then thinking of him getting the majority votes is a pipe dream…so with current circumstances what you have suggested is the most feasible… and BTW if ALL fails then danda to hey na … as someone mentioned above as well.

Pakistan already has the NCA, National Command Authority. This is very important for Pakistan, high level decisions are made by this Authority regarding missiles, nuclear weapons and other military, defence projects.

What if we had PTGA, Pakistan State governance Authority, it is very powerful and important place to discuss the policies regarding Health, Governance, Corruption, Tax, education. The PM chairs it but also has other important people, experts, establishment people. They have experts who make long term water policies etc. The bill is created and passed to parliament for debate and approval, the parliament opposition leaders can be part of it too. I believe our leaders will feel the danda. The new government comes in and automatically gets ministers to be part of this Authority and then they could debate if they need to make amends but we all know they don't have a clue. If they make good points then policy can be amended. The PTGA chair can even make statement in Parliament on the importance of the policy. For example look how long terrorism happened in Pakistan but government never made any laws to counter it, thousands of terrorists released from jails. Imagine PTGA security chair issuing statement in parliament regarding new policy to protect Pakistan and to the media. It will definitly open many eyes, plus if the policy is right then sellouts will have nothing to say. Since the new government will also have the chair this way the establishment will not be able to hijack.

It's the same system but with some updates.
I would love to see a security authority with FBI like force part of it. They only investigate high level cases, like rape, killing, terrorism, abduction. They overtake from the local police when an incident occurs and they are national so no criminal is safe.

All is fine but IF the intelligentsia have no powers to force their policies to be implemented then it will be useless… you know how many unnecessary red tapes a simple workable solution have to go through until it dies an untimely death … I am referring to the baaboo shahi (bureaucrats) …

-Realistically, a Jugaroo Govt and hybrid of Democracy and Dictatorship.

Need a strong government but it results in corruption

If you think corruption rn is bad than Presidential system will probably make it a lot worse

But I think strong governments outweigh the cons of increased corruption

Pak needs millitary somewhere in thier system too (and well defined not like what's happening rn- current ways brings instability)

Making it too political will make it a useless army but finding that sweet spot is the hard part

Biggest problem of Pak is too many power center jocking for power, PM, Army, Judiciary, in turn making the country directionless (Judicial activism turns away invested brings insecurity, Iftikhar Ch, Nawaz Sharif and his foreign policy, Army is also well documented)
ONE PARTY DICTATORSHIP!
What if that party turns out to be something like PPP

How are we supposed to remove em without a civil war?

One party state with the facade of parliamentary democracy, also known as the Singaporean model.
