What is possibility of Modi triggering 3rd war with Pakistan?

China has maintained a very very mature policy all around. Though not the best as there are many unresolved disputes. But yes - they have not escalated the situation. You have preferred to make yourself stronger instead. A very smart approach. :agree:
All this while, instead of only barking, you have focused on development, commerce, undercover compromise and also dealt with terrorists in the harshest manner possible.
The way I see it, the Pakistan-India border is really volatile.

I mean China has a lot of diplomatic disputes nowadays (mostly maritime) but none of them involve mass killings of soldiers on both sides, or even beheadings, like what seems to happen a lot on the Kashmir border. In fact there is no cross-border bloodshed at all.

In the worst case scenario, we might get into a naval skirmish with some SE Asian nation. Since they are all maritime disputes, they are inherently limited to naval skirmishes, and not to full-scale war. Our only real chance of a full-scale land-war is with India, since that's our only land-border dispute, and even then it's locked off by the Himalayas.

So one serious troublemaker can easily stir up a lot of trouble and bloodshed on the Pakistan-India border with a simple false-flag attack. Groups/organizations, countries, even powerful individuals looking to make a quick buck on the stock markets.

Or even one guy with an itchy trigger finger. It's better for the whole region if this knife-edge situation can be reduced significantly.

Anyway on topic, only the most foolish people in India would want to go to war with Pakistan. In fact Pakistan army itself must be hoping for a small war with India, to unite their own country. It is in India's best interest to watch from the sidelines as Pakistan battles with Pakistan, while harping on about "freeing" India's Kashmir - a state that lives in more peace than any part of Pakistan.

Pakistanis have only one thing to unite them - no, not islam. The hatred of India, and the desire to hurt India. So why would India want to feed that feeling and help them unite? The only way that Pakistan army can bring all the insurgencies under control, is to go to war with India and have the talibs fight alongside them, rather than against them. Otherwise, their writ in their own country is under threat, and they are completely at a loss about how to deal with the monsters they created.

well brother i said the same thing but owr pakistani comrades are reluctant to hear and they keep harping about Kashir when the thread was about Modi ...so actuali its not Modi , BJP , Kashmir or Ummah but the hate for India and Hindus thats important to them and some indians think of aman ki asha ....lolzzz

Kashmir belongs to the Kashmiri people be it the Indian controlled Kashmir or the Pakistani controlled Kashmir. I for one wish to see the Kashmiri families united and have their God given right to self determination. If they want a 'United Republic of Kashmir' ,comprising of the ICK and PCK, i will be the first one to support it.

So when I say it was a betrayal from Pakistani side when they ceded land of "Republic of Kashmir" to Chinese, you would agree with me right? :P

.
I understand your concern and i totally agree with you here. However we don't get to pick who comes into power in India, its up to Indian citizens to decide. Should their decision end up in mr Modi starting a war, the consequences will be staggering. Its up to the informed citizens of India [A Nation with some very bright people] to decide what direction they want to lead their nation into.

You are really laboring under some serious delusions of grandeur here.

The Indian people are going to vote for Modi ji because the Indian people want Modi ji to improve things for us.

Not because we want him to start a war with you.

Phooooooossss :omghaha:
The Pakistani tyre of self-righteousness goes kaput.

Do you see our border situation as any less (or more) dangerous than that existing between the two Koreas?

There too you guys are actively involved. Coincidence maybe?

The border between the two Koreas is less volatile, since only one side has nukes there. :P So the chances of a full-scale nuclear war there are very low, since South Korea couldn't nuke back even if they wanted to. The opposite of the Pakistan-India border, which has been classified as the most dangerous border on Earth.

Maybe our leaders are the ones with the "唯恐天下不乱" mentality I mentioned earlier. And they are just covering it up very well. That's if you believe in conspiracy theories. :P

Or maybe North Koreans are just mental, you decide. They aren't following our system for one thing, they spit on our advice.

When we told them to go back to the six-party talks, they practically just farted in our faces. (Or maybe we just wanted the world to see it that way? You decide.)

.
Which is why Kashmir is a dagger we will always hold to your heart.

It works both ways.

Not only to remind you that you could not, and never will get full satisfaction in partition, so that you remain bitter, fixated and reactive rather than a truly free nation - but there is also a deeper reason.

Pakistanis live healthier, happier than an average Indian and have no doubts about their freedoms. Its your wild assumptions that you are building your beliefs upon.

If full satisfaction is to be debated than, what about Indians who always bring this up. Indian nation has a fixation with the partition. Hindus have a fixation with Akhand Bharat. Are you sure, that your little trick isn't working on you more than it is working on us?

As long as Kashmir remains, the raison de etre of primacy of Army in Pakistan will remain.

Primacy of the Pakistan Army in political life has ended through a process of social evolution that no armchair internet wannabe could predict. 98% Pakistani Armed Forces soldiers and 100% officers voted in this election. Therefore your little 'assumption' is rendered in vanity of your own delusioned calculus.

This has ensured that your civil institutions have slowly but surely withered.

Pakistan's civilian institutions perform better than the Indian institutions, Pakistan is less corrupt, less red tape and less hierarchical than the Indian civil structure. It has stood the test of time, through the long periods of conflicts and has developed resilience. Pakistan's civil service today is more robust than the past and is by no means 'withering' as you like to assume.

Bangladesh was the first consequence of following an Army directed policy. And surely there is more to come on the same road.

Wrong, Bangladesh was the consequence of a political blunder committed by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and his team.

But from what I have read, the North using nukes is going to ensure a US and probably even a Chinese nuclear response. And a flood of millions of Korean refugees into mainland China.

well brother the thread is about indian PM candidate Modi and pakistani apprehensions that he will make war but the thing is indians want to vote for him cause he is a non corrupt politicians who has turned the fortunes of a state and now is poised to become indian PM and its not the war what is on his agenda but peace and we indians never invaded a counrty to grab its land in all owr recorded history so war is not a solution for india but could be one for pakistan so they could unite there mases now its up to chinese to think whome they choose

But from what I have read, the North using nukes is going to ensure a US and probably even a Chinese nuclear response. And a flood of millions of Korean refugees into mainland China.

North Korea using nukes on South Korea = UN Intervention and capture of North Korea, with China seizing a buffer zone in the north of the country and UN forces taking the rest.

Insane Juche-filled North Korean rantings aside, wiping out the capital city Seoul (and it's 20 million inhabitants, which equals 50% of the South Korean population) is crossing the line.

No nukes will be used in retaliation. Conventionally North Korea stands no chance in this scenario.

As for the flood of North Korean refugees, we can handle that. With the buffer zone. Or with other methods, none of which will be pleasing for you to hear.

well brother you know why kashmir is so important to pakistanies well cause it keeps the war hysteria and fire burning deu to hate for hindus and India in mind of a common pakistanies as they are fed with hate for us since last 6.5 decades and now what they are going thru is symptoms of the desease this hate india virus caused and mind it it is beyond repair now and since they are alone and india dosent wants to be with them in this so now they are imploding and they know the cure is onli good relations with india but then again :astagh:

.
well brother to rectify or deal with Tyre 1 you have to take a few steps and that are

1. Abolish fedual

Already in decay due to the 'Islamic law of inheritance'
. Their lands have been divided into bits because they have to hand over lands to their sons as well as their daughters, making the process of division faster and more robust.

If you come to Punjab, i will drive you around in plains where once landlords played Gods with their 1000+ acre farms. Now it is impossible to find a landlord with 200+ acre farm. They are a dying breed...one more Generation and they will come down to a level of an ordinary farmer.

and patwari sytem

Already underway in Punjab and KPK.

Punjab gets its first, Land Record Management Information System (LRMIS) Service center

2.get your economy back on track

Our economy is held back due to the war in Afghanistan and its 'fringe benefits'. With the end of active hostilities in Afghanistan, we will see growth rate back to 5%+

3. try to raise standards of education and health and employment

When Musharraf came, Pakistan had around 40 Universities, today we have around 160. Its all thanks to his liberalization of the education sector. Pakistan's youth literacy rate has reached 70% Pakistan's youth literacy rate at 70% | UNESCO

Unemployment in Pakistan hasn't hit the rock bottom because of people's entrepreneurship. Not to forget that Pakistan has a large 'un taxed black economy' that creates employment.

Given all this, its hardly a start, but we will get there.

4. try to reign in rouge elemnts and punish them so thers take advice

Not too hopeful on that one yet.

5.make your people love and respect state and its institutions than opressing them

That is done through democracy, lets hope for the better is all i can say.

onli then you after few decades will be able to tackel Tyre 1 we are here since the time of recorded history and we will be here come when you want your welcome

Yes, thats a correct assessment.

I think its time to call it a day. :coffee:
