everybody in India including muslims care about culture/tradition... indian muslims will be offended if you say they only care about money because thats what muslims say about hindus.
there is a variation among hindus wrt attitude towards money(dont know about others), gujratis tend to be money minded, south Indians are stingy.. north Indians are showy... east Indians want to splash on food. I am generalizing of course.
