What's new

What Indian Hindu thinks about Mughals and Taj Mahal.

Its less to do with the building and the structure and more to do with the fact that it is a sign of muslim history and heritage and domination

This is why the creation of Pakistan was so important and why india's secularism isnt worth a cows arse!

In theory india as a secular state should celebrate the history and heritage of all its communities but what you see is a attack on muslim history and an attempt to deride, subvert or destroy muslim history while trying to glorify hindu history

Now as Pakistanis this dosent mean anything to us, we always knew the nature of hindus, Jinnah was aware of it 70 years ago

But then they need to end this charade of secular india and indian muslims like @SOUTHie need to wake up and smell the Gau mutr about the nature of their state snd the risk posed to them

I really don't understand this mentality behind taj mahal.
Taj mahal is the main tourist attraction in india and they wanna break it too , really ?

What is there not to understand? The nationalist Hindus have developed a deep hate against Muslims. These cow worshippers think they belong to the fold. Anything associated with Muslims is by default a target.

This is an excellent thing. We need more hate to flow out of India. More conflict between various groups. India is heading towards a point of no return.

You need to watch the video it is very interesting it is not all about Taj Mahal but mughals.
ok you want to debate /? let us debate , kindly tell me what is the point you want to prove . you say what you want to say here , i will reply you rationally with dignity . tell you in advance , dont cry in between the debate if i say hard facts as they might make you fell uncomfortable .

BTW , a dead body is a dead body , kindly try to find sanity in making a grave for the same >>?, pure wastage of land is what i find looking at the graves . kindly throw some light and enlighten me about the significance of making graves if you disagree
then we will move to the grand taj mahal and all the crap inside it and the video made by some lunatic human being having weak mind impossible to think rationally !#

Agreed....

But pls don't use religious insults.

Kash ghussay may bol dayta cho**a banany keh ilawa tum na kuch nai banaya!

But well these hindus are just disgusting seriously!! I wish we could move india to sime place far far from us.

Personally I think the Taj is highly overrated.

If not macabre.

Symbol of love? A friggin grave.

Give me a break man.

Angrez couples sitting on the bench holding hands. Pukesville ...

India has gorgeous ancient temples. Phenomenal carvings in stone. Now that's art.

What most puts one off the Taj is the filthy city and surroundings one drives through to reach it.

No offense, but this is true of most Muslim dense areas in India.

But should it be neglected, or worse, broken? No. Absolutely not. Just putting some perspective to the oohing and aahing going on about India being all about the Taj.

I reluctantly drove down with a foreign guest (a Jewess doc) from Delhi to Agra just because she wanted to see the Taj. It was my first time. After 45 years living in India. That's how attractive and alluring the Taj is to us.

Cheers, Doc

The proverb fits well on majority of subcontinent people; "shah sa zyada shah k wafadar". However, this behavioural evolution is linked directly with the history of this region.

The unfortunate thing that happened with south asians is that they never had ownership of governance and sense of national patriotism. From generations; people of subcontinent are either under direct rule of their local chieftains, maharajas of states and then central rulers from time to time; let it be mughals or britishers.

The only way for these poor people to escape their misery or in-case of next in-line kins of local maharajas and cheifs to gain power was to side with the "invaders". But the notion that they were well of under the previous rule is a myth. Neither muslims under mughals nor hindus under hindu rulers. In both cases local people were miserable. This created this strong sense of opportunism; which still creeps in our society and i will come to it in a minute. Mughals, britishers and many other invaders took advantage of this situation and lured these less fortunate ones with high position and status to gain their loyalty. The one who opposed or were in favorable positions with the previous rulers got killed or suffered heavily.

Now coming to the current situation; after partition the unifying factor in-case of Pakistan became religion; which now after one generation started to create nationalism as "Pakistani" though it will take few more generations to evolve and get strong. In case of India the factors remained which were there pre-partition and even pre-british invasion. Society is divided by linguistic, ethnic, religious factors where a particular set of people ruled for majority of "democratic" period in India. This, however, changed with Modi coming to power. He lured common hindus and gave them the sense of hindu ownership of India and of course enmity against Pakistan(Muslims) and again these poor people got lured thinking that their life may will change; which history tells, is not going to happen. For public consumption these goons will keep giving statements against Mughals or Muslims and what not to keep the public occupied. The people who are siding with this narrative are just opportunistic mindset people, lured in to getting some local cafeteria/canteen tender or some government job. Putting their hopes in to promises of some hindu dominated glorifying future. It's a shame for people that they never learn. Not gonna go in to details of Pakistan's scenario; which until recently was (kinda is) on the same path, the elite was/still using similar tactics based on linguistic, provincialism and etc to gain their power and to stay in power. But i am hopeful with the recent change; though not a big chunk but society is changing and i am hopeful for that. In India's case they are going in reverse direction when it comes to society's evolution.

What about @jbgt90?

JBG, WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU WHEN WE NEED YOU?

Others in 'the conversation', too; please step up and be counted.

@Joe Shearer @jbgt90
Sir if you don't mind Kindly watch the video and give me your opinion.

Have you watch the video?
Look the sangeet soms and the motor mouths of the bjp have little or no importance , they are allowed to shout and divert the attention of the masses because if the masses do wake up and see the effect on the economy this govt would be in trouble.
That is not to say that some where down the line we might not have some overzealous idiots who try to damage what ever is left of the social fabric of this country , but everything comes second when it comes to winning elections for the Govt.
@Joe Shearer i am here

Hindus want to destroy Taj Mahal just because of jealousy lol they don’t have anything that can compete with the beauty of the Taj Mahal. Interesting that the Hindus don’t try to attack British colonial era buildings lol
