Islamic blasphemy laws are perfectly valid and just methods of preserving social harmony. Its tolerant and humane and laws of muslims majority countries should be based on islam and NOT liberal secularism. Muslims can NOT be liberals and Islam does not sanction individualism and absolute freedom of speech.

On the other hand inhumane , illogical and totalitarian blasphemy laws are there in the liberal secular west and liberal secular muslim majority countries. There are laws prohibiting disrespect of national anthem , flag , national leaders , soldiers , sodomites , cultural symbols and icons etc. In short, things that are sacrosanct to liberal secular world view can not be criticized. UK now has laws criminalizing speeches that go against "british values". The french consider any form of religious attire in public space an affront to their republican values. So first get your own house in order before contemplating about whether there's a problem with Islamic blasphemy laws - which common sense dictates , there isn't.

The west has its minions in places so that the Muslims can never replicate what they have been doing to the Muslims in their countries.



In BD it's the other way round, the rights of the minorities come first, they enjoy favours from all sides.

Muslims in in fact should not replicate western treatment of minorities. Secular liberal bigots should not be our teachers. Islamic world has a rich history of tolerance and sharia provides tolerance for minorities. Sharia never demands assimilation into majority culture and values from minorities. In fact minorities always had their own courts and laws to sort out their problems. If you look at past islamic empires, religious minorities were left alone as long as they recognized rule of muslims and didn't rebel i.e weren't traitors to the state.
