"What has Mr Modi done since becoming prime minister? All talk, no action."

The news is clearly biased and favored towards Hindus. Your entire media was celebrating Afzal Gurus hanging and bemoaning sadhvi pragyas arrest. So there is a clear difference.
That is because hatred to Islam is taught in schools to us from childhood. :)

India increased its volume of oil import when it built up its strategic oil reserves.

Your claim might be a joke but it is actually a reality that Muslim heroes and figures are often demonized in Indian history classes. They are presented as villains and evil people who imposed their religion on the Hindus. On the other hand Hindu figures are revered and promoted. My cousin studied in one of the top colleges in Lucknow and he still sees this rape of history continuously.

I am fervently hoping for the return of the glorious days of the Islamic rulers when Hindustan was a land of milk and honey and secularism was followed in its true essence. :D

How much has the import increased percentage wise?
Global crude oil price crash increases India's import dependence - timesofindia-economictimes

During April-July, India's crude oil production marginally dipped to 12.4 million metric tonnes (MMT) from 12.5 MMT in the corresponding period a year ago. In the same period, crude oil import jumped 6% to 66.3 MMT and petroleum products import climbed 40% to 9.2 MMT. India's self-sufficiency in petroleum products fell to 20.1% from 21.3%.

:hitwall: Cant you see anything beyond religion?????? it is getting boring mate.....

And again I say, in a country this big, there will always be people with views. There were and there will be.

So I assure you, you will not hear anything other than a man being killed for being Muslims here, a beef issue there, some unknown man asking SRK to leave the country.

And the economy not progressing is a ridiculous argument to make. Otherwise this nation would have become a failed state in a month. Without an economy how can a country survive? :what:

I said it before and i say it again , we are not getting the magic wand promised to us by the PM .(its not realistic ) but it was the reason why he was given the mandate. .
Again i want to know what has changed for the better since he has become PM , on the ground , be specific.
Do not tell me this MOU and that MOU has been signed cuz they have yet (if ever) to become a reality .
There was never a question that India is growing . what i want to know is how has this govt contributed to its growth. and i do not mean re-branding UPA policies decisions.

Are you insane?
You say it's not realistic and then you ask what magic wand Modi has used so far! The topics I quoted you were not MoUs. They were actions on the ground. And yes Modi did not sign them. He is not the finance minister. He is responsible for enabling business. Not creating startups.

Now answer the following. I have been reasonable and gentle with you all the while.
Where is the rampant corruption? It went down in fact.
How did India become the first choice of investment in the world?
Why were simple sanitation and cleanliness drives not done in the past?
Why were Indians denied access to basic banking facilities even when most important and biggest banks were all nationalized?
Why are the solar power projects coming up just now?
Why did it take the ministries to give green signal to so many pending projects?
Why did the defense acquisitions take so much time before and why did they happen quickly now?
Why did the indigenously produced equipment not used by the armed forces and why were foreign contracts preferred even when budgets could barely afford them?
Why did the present govt plan to reduce defense budget by making in India?
Why was foreign policy ignored for so long a time?
Why did it take a Hindutvavadi PM to sign a border agreement with Bangladesh forty years after its existence?

I can go on an on.

All the things you say are false. A lot of these are ongoing things. Corruption has remained the same.

It is actually early to determine economic performance of a govt. There have been some positive signs but we have to wait till 1 year before the end of his tenure to analyze his perfomance.
But for the sake of argument- foreign Investment inflow have gone up which is a positive factor for economic growth.
And also the lower international price for oil does results in the lower price of imports and it effects the economic growth in many ways(cheaper source of energy) but it takes a lot more then that to increase the GDP growth from 6.9 to 7.5%

Dishonest.

Government Makes Over 3-Lakh Crore From Coal and Spectrum Sale; Government Auditor's Estimates Surpassed

This was the scale of corruption in UPA, this govt has tried to correct it.

There is REAL progress that is being ignored

Toilets
Roads
Bank accounts for the poor

These are very basic things, mere necessities. It does not matter to the poor if someone returns the plaque but not the award money to an independent org. But the roads will serve them and the toilets will play a part in saving hundreds of thousands of kids who die of water and soil contamination and the bank accounts will bring millions into mainstream economics. I'm not even talking about fancy projects and stuff that benefits the ''haves'', these are things that will benefit the ''not haves''. And these are basic things, like fcuk, BASIC, who the duck is responsible for this mess that we did not even have these???

All of the things you said were going on in the past .
The Bangladesh border pact was in fact worked on by the upa.
who told you corruption is down? its still prevalent everywhere. I should know as i have to grease the wheels quiet often in many depts.
there were solar projects before , and they are still being made.
The environmental ministry gave permission but cares a little what happens to the environment. (i agree this should be done)
Where are defense deals being finalized faster? they are talking the same time .
Our foreign policy has no direction , just visits and holding vast meetings with NRI population do not translate to diplomacy on ther ground. few come to mind , Nepal , Sri lanka and the Maldives.
Is our country cleaner than what it was 18 months ago? go outside and tell me that the people have stopped littering and you have clean streets.
What ever gave you the idea that citizens were not allowed to have bank accounts? now that they have them is there any money in them? the average account they opened has bout 100 rs.
Like i say where are all the reforms promised? where is the curbing of prices? i am sure the average Indian is not interested in what our GDP is or how many visits are there by the PM to wherever. they are all about balancing the monthly budget. now i am sure you realize that cost of staples and vegetables are high.

Bro i know you are young and full of enthusiasm , want to support our PM as he is the face of change , but we really should not close our eyes to reality . question what exactly has been achieved in the past 18 months. You will find , Not much!!!!!
