1. Debt ( Pakistan fiscal deficit on average in last 10 yrs has ran 7+ without IMF years
2. Destroyed production & imports ..well known legacy of nawaz sharif
3. Nationalization and than inability to run institutions ( nationalization of oil did work in arab countries) due to corruption
4. High social spending not based upon productivity
5. Fiscal indiscipline
6. Subsiding everyone ( like we do on oil sugar ghee)
7. Use less (less important) infrastructure projective

That's another reminder that having the largest resources of oil on the continent and richest economy does not save you if your defences and intel are not strong.
Rather, it is like being a rich guy and living in a tent without guards in a forest teeming with robbers and dacoits.

Pakistan has to stop subsidiary to rich and middle class

No subsidy on oil and food rather provide food stamps to poor through bisep that can be used in utility store..this ramadhan pacakage in which billions are spent in black market via people buying from utility store and selling samw in black should stop

Imran khan should tell people straight " govt cant print money so if oil is expensive outside its going to be expensive here too"

Sanctions!. Lets sanction Saudi Arabia, no one buys oil from it and see what happens. Just see what is happening in Iran. Given that oil prices are up there should be some improvement but you see none. I had posted an AMA of a researcher from reddit. It was quite well written.

sanctions is later issue not recent event
second you cant sanction saudis, or russians simply because the amount of share they have in market..this was true for this country untill it started to loose its production (prior to sanctions due to nationalization)
easy to blame others for your failures

That's what I've been trying to say for long. Pakistan is importing like crazy and to pay for that imports, pakistan is borrowing borrowing borrowing. This madness needs to end and people in Pakistan should be put to work instead of being dependent on govt and blaming govt for their failures. Stop providing subsidies on any imported item except medicines. Petrol prices should be increased and even taxed for residential consumers, and businesses should be given incentives and tax breaks if they get themselves rid of oil/import dependence.

I watched videos on youtube where venezuelans were making hand bags from their currency notes and selling them , i got really confused because they were making them with hundreds of notes so what will they sell them for ?
