An old-fashioned topic, just wanna collect some thinking from you guys.

Let me be the first one:

As a citizen of the "Chinese freedom region", a supporter of "Greater-China-ism", I honestly hope the country I belongs to will become stronger even being bowed by those stupid neighbors (<- I made it bold because some people care so much about it). But in the other hand, I really don't want the goddamn CCP roots their influence in my hometown and bother our living. Especially when they are so into blocking websites like the freaking Youtube and Facebook, not to mention the freedom of speech.

The main thing is what pro-Western policies do not come to power in China. Otherwise China will be divided into many small states, many of whom will fight each other. Of course, for large coastal cities would benefit, but for most people this will mean a return to poverty and feudalism.
China should be a united, strong, peaceful state.
I am sure that in future China will be a major partner of Russia in space exploration.

The communist party is aware that in the eyes of many Chinese its authority is eroding. And while the party leaders know the problems they face...they know too that there are few easy answers.Take pollution for example.

Reducing the pollution will mean imposing new costs on industries that have toclean up their acts.
As far as I know some of those industries are state owned and are powerful political players. Others are private firms that live in a cut-throat competitive world where costs matter.
New regulations would mean imposing new costs and may lead them to cut the size of their workforce.
Ergo the industrial production will go down tremendously,effecting the economy. Its going to be a Dominos effect.But ppl are angry ,they need to have a quality life and Govt. must ensure it.


Well about your "stupid neighbors" comment, i am sure your neighbors will have the same to say about your country.

You need to seriously relax. All China has with Vietnam is some dispute over some islands. No one is asking you to become a vassal state and pay tributes.
