My advice.. Please dont even think of doing MBBS from Russia... Teaching standards are so low, cant even be described, u have to bribe the teachers every year so that they will pass you.. Clinical knowledge gained there in almost NIL.. Plus only 41 institutions in Russia are recognized by medical council of India(which is required if u ever want to come back and practice here).. And most of the colleges in which u get admn there on first come first serve basis, dont figure in that list..

Although there are a few VERY GOOD institutions there, but getting admission in those colleges is a very difficult task..

Also to come back and practice here, u will need to clear an examination conducted by Medical Council Of India(given the college you have passed your MBBS from, figures in that 41 list, else no chance of practicing here in India ever), which very few students are able to clear(Pass percentage in that exam is 3-4% every year)..

So its very much better to do it here in India only.. Ask your brother to study hard and prepare for the entrance examination.. And btw, examination patter for MBBS has changed.. There will be only ONE entrance exam for admissions all over India.. No state wise examinations and no individual examinations for private institutions also.. So better chances of making it through... http://www.mciindia.org/tools/announcement/CoreSyllabus_NEET-UG.pdf

Hope the information helps...!!

thanks a lot m8 i had my reservations abt it btw hes secured a rank of 2943 in AIPMT

Why do engineers in India go into management? Pretty much every engineer I know in India did their B.E and went straight to MBA. Why did you make the switch? Just curious.
