To be honest my friend, most Pakistanis have little idea about her. A man on street most likely not even know who she is. Some better informed Pakistanis would broadly categorized her to be moderate and the one who balances Bangladesh relations with India and Pakistan. In contrast to Sheikh Haseena who is generally viewed as pro India and anti Pakistan.

Frankly for most Pakistanis now, Bangladesh is a distant land with whom we have had association in the history. As painful as that history is for the people of both nations, Pakistanis have mostly moved on while wishing all the best to you guys. May you people have a bright future.

Khaleda's chalice was poisoned at inception. She is the wife of Ziaur Rehman - himself not the greatest leader a country could have. Pro-Pakistani, '71-denying, anti-democratic and Jamaat-incubating.
