Hi PDF members) Exactly what do you think caused world war 2 to happen
1)Hitlers fascist and racist ideology?
2)Some christian religious beliefs against jews?
3)Socialism Vs communism or capitalism ?
4)It was just some dirty politics and power game?
I have read a lot about world war 2 but still it isn,t clear what really caused this huge mess to happen.There are different theories from different people and when different point of views are involved it,s really hard to get a rational answer .

Easy. WWI caused WWII.

Rather what happened after WWI. Research the armistice of 1918 and the treaty of Versailles.
Germany was in a poor state after WWI. Political instability (research the Munich Pustch and the Kapp Putsch), wars between the government and both right and left wing factions, poor economic conditions, reparations to be paid, completely stripped of any military, war guilt Germany held. These were the times that led Hitler to write Mein Kampf. These events provided the sentiment and conditions for extremist elements to thrive.

But later things started to improve before they hit rock bottom again. This time to some background reading in to the Great Depression and it's effect on Germany. This part provides the prime opportunity for these extremists powers to be propelled in to power.

I don't know that why WW2 was started , but one thing we should learn from this event that never press a nation that much so anyone like hitler stand up and burn the whole Europe

for me the war was result of mixed racism and racial extremism

2)Overnationalism.Extreme nationalism reached its peak in the early 20th century.Everything became justifiable in supposed 'cause of the state'.Survival of the fittest was used as justification for brutality.
3)German militarism.Germany was united by prussia.It was described as 'an army with a state'.Thus prussia shaped german nation building.WW1 didn't end the german general staff.
4)HItler- Hitler curious mix of extreme nationalism,anti semitism(need scapegoats) and racism( need an ideology to justify the extermination and unprovoked attacks)eventually hypnotize disgruntled german masses fed up with hyperinflation during great depression and humiliation of ww1.
5)Anti-communism.The bolsheviks in power were the new bogeyman of europe.Many french and british leaders felt they needed a strong germany against the bolshevik tide.Hitler could never have gotten away with munich and austria had there been no fear of soviet russia.

They invaded in 1944 because they waited for all the Nazi troops to be commited on east front. So that they could move in for quick victory with minimal losses. They could also have invaded in 42 or 43 but their casaulties would be much higher. By invading in 1944 Russians had already thrown approx 8 million of their own troops into the meat grinder until it jammed. From war perspective they acted very clever.

World War II was not caused due to a single reason. Just like the First world War, this one too was the consequence of a series of mile stone events which in the end led to catastrophe,which none of the countries involved desired (not even Germany); Nor its scale was envisioned by any political or military thinkers just like the First World War. These following are those milestone events which might have sparked the fuse of this irreversible chain reaction.

1. The urgent need for imposition of penal peace by the enforcement of the treaty of Versailles upon Germany which almost single handedly destroyed the entire allied coalition.

2. The erratic remapping of Europe after the dilution of three major empires, the Tsarist, the Ottomans and the Habsburg.

3. The failure of Britain and France to respond to the important world events like reoccupation of Rhineland, Spanish Civil war due to their passive post 1918 psyche.

4. The massive economic crisis all over modern world which cleared the path of fascism in Europe.

I do not know how many Jews were killed - 4 millions or 6 millions, but I know exactly that 27 millions Soviet citizens were killed.

In the past decade in the name of USA so called war on terror we lost more than 50,000 pakistani citizens which according to me is unbearable loss.Now imagine how it feels like when you guys lost 27 million of your citizens .Man that,s terrible ((

Economic Sanctions by UK and France on Germany as repayment of war cost for world war 1 was the prime reason
why Germany had to fight back in second world war.

They were being driven to poverty due to high taxation by UK / Europe on poor Germany.

So they did what any reasonable person would do


The Treaty of Versailles and the 1921 London Schedule of Payments required Germany to pay 132 billion gold marks (33 billion dollars) in reparations to cover civilian damage caused during the war

33 Billion dollars in 1920 would be 3 Trillion Dollars modern currency


It was pretty much slavery , germans would work 60-70% of their income would go to UK & Europe as payment for their "guilt"

Recalling the poverty and lack of quality life movement began in Germany to revive economy and social values and it lead to desire to not pay for "GUILT" money


Most of stuff now we read , is pretty much lies , created to fool people why the war started
just moral justification for that war. One side had to be good and other evil , so that "story" was drawn after the war ended that war was due to MORAL rights of some group or people pure fabrication
