What can Pakistan learn from Bangladesh?

.
We never tolerated terrorism, be it the mullah or the pandits, we shot every mofo that tried to create problems in name of religion... in India and Pakistan this was not the case and hence they are suffering.

Both

Cloth making certainly made China a giant. However garments/ textiles has already started shrinking... diversification process is underway for alternative industries like ship building/ IT/ pharmaceutical/ car/ tech manufacturing industries

I love the fact this thread didn’t become a troll fest and good discussions is underway. Cheers to both pak and bd brothers

In street prosperity, Pakistan is much more prosper than any other south Asian country

. . .
For countries still having significant poverty it is

Decrease in child mortality
Increase in literacy
Improvement in nutrition
Better health and long life

this will only be achieved when there is 100% literacy ( plus awareness/education about these issues), I know in Pakistani villages where you see economic prosperity but due to lack of education people go to voodoo doctors and graves to solve their health issues, they may spend more money on it than simply going to a doctor.

I respectfully disagree. Real world doesn't work that way. Iraq tried to invade Kuwait on these premises. And look what happened to them. Kuwait is still a jewel of the desert. While Iraq has become a shit hole.

I would have agreed with you If Iraq had any military power or if Sadam had any brain power, they lacked both.

Foreign minister AK Abdul Momen on Friday said Pakistan was following Bangladesh for economic uplift of the country as Bangladesh had made a tremendous development in the last 11 years.

‘Pakistani economists suggested the country’s prime minister to reach the country’s economy to the equal level of Bangladesh within next 10 years,’ he said at a view-exchange with local journalists at the circuit house in Sylhet on Friday evening.

Paying tribute to Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the minister said because of the far-sighted leadership of Sheikh Mujib, Bangladesh had attained independence through the War of Independence many years ago.

‘We are now enjoying the benefits of independence. Otherwise, Bangladesh would have remained a backward country,’ he said.

Momen said during the Mujib Year, the development of Bangladesh would be showcased in the world through different programmes in 77 Bangladesh missions abroad.

Once dubbed as bottomless basket, Bangladesh had now become a land of opportunity and a country of vibrant economy, he said.

Mentioning UNESCO’s announcement of celebrating the Mujib Year along with Bangladesh, he said, ‘We are trying to name as many foreign streets or avenues after Bangabandhu and we are getting some positive response too.’

Earlier, the minister inaugurated the underground electricity transmission on Hazrat Shahjalal (R) Mazar Road in the city.

M Kazi Imdadul Haque and Sylhet police superintendent Farid Uddin Ahmed, among others, were present on the occasion.
Indian compares to Pakistan.
Bangladeshi compares to Pakistan.
Why?
Guys, we know I are the backward rubbish company.
Now that we have admitted that, you guys keep developing and don't waste your superpower energies on us.

.
Not helpful at all, and just a troll fest, but knowing we have the ability to grow as well as maintain a large defence capability is good.

. . . .
What are Bangladeshis smoking now a days .... match Bangladesh economy in ten years?

dollar devaluation doesn’t mean all of a sudden we have less industrial capacity, less technology, less strategic value , less infrastructure , less resources ........

yes dollar devaluation made Pakistani GDP look less but GDP is a poor measure of any country’s true economic Position.
So in two years Bangladesh went ahead of Pakistan???? Only Hasina and her administration can achieve such fictitious achievement.
Look at PPP ranking as a more accurate reflection of a country. Even that has many inherent weakness but again people will believe what their leaders tell them.
You're wrong mate. Pakistan is now receiving donations from Saudi Arabia, China via CPEC which is maintaining the country. Even the Pakistan army is running short of budget and that's shocking as most of the money of the annual gdp of Pakistan is allocated for defence.

Bangladesh on the other hand is growing rapidly. As of now the gdp of Bangladesh is lower than Pakistan but it would not take long to overcome the economy of Pakistan.
