What is a greater shirk is most of such people are associated with black magic. They claim to know ilm ul ghaib but no one has knowledge of al ghaib except for Allah azaawajal. Not even prophets. The fool people by saying what they practice is noori amal or white magic or sometimes they say they have karamat. But it is all lies,shirk and black magic.
Rasool SAW said that I fear for my ummah shirk that is hidden. Black magic is such evil hidden shirk. And it is highly highly prevelant in Indo-Pakistani socities today. People are purchasing black magic left, right and center. Some people get effected by it knowingly or unknowingly. It is an evil that yields no good to the one who seeks to use it to harm someone else or for healing himself.
Read first ayahs of surah al jinn and it says that a certain group of humankind sought protection from chiefs among the jinn. But the jinn only increased them in misguidance.
And such magicians are always calling upon jinnat and shayateen to hel them in their sorcery. The above ayah illustrates that whoever approaches black magic will only be gain more problems.
But such charlatans claim to have muwakkals but they are only misguiding people by calling them to shirk and taking them away from sirrat al mustaqeem.
