LOL! we should post a lot of Bengali music for our friend Shri Indrani Ji !

Kishore Kumar, RD Burman, Manna Dey were popular Bengali singers in Bollywood in old days, they were followed like cult figures. In old days of Hindi films, Bengalis had a greater presence in singing and acting.
 

This is a traditional Bengali folk. You might like it, my friend.

My room mate in college was a Bangladeshi foreign exchange student.

He would sing this song, and it has always been imprinted in my mind:

One of my favorite and one of the most underrated band of north east, Freddy's Nightmare...
I wish they had a proper video , the song seems so magical..switch on your woofer..

I actually find Nepali language very melodic ! Ever heard of the Nepali version of "Take me to your heart" ?

I truly LOVE it !

I think RD Burman is half tripuri and SD burman is half manipuri... "Dev Burman" :enjoy: just saying ,though not completely sure
