What Are You Listening to Right Now - Round 2

@django

meditation music for me

Wonderful bro.Kudos
@jamahir @Zibago @Hell hound

What do the lyrics mean??

Winter's cityside
Crystal bits of snowflakes
All around my head and in the wind
I had no illusions
That I'd ever find a glimpse
Of summer's heatwaves in your eyes

You did what you did to me
Now it's history, I see
Here's my comeback on the road again
Things will happen while they can
I will wait here for my man tonight
It's easy when you're big in Japan

Oh, when you're big in Japan, tonight
Big in Japan, be tight
Big in Japan, ooh the eastern sea's so blue
Big in Japan, alright
Pay, then I'll sleep by your side
Things are easy when you're big in Japan
Oh, when you're big in Japan

Neon on my naked skin, passing silhouettes
Of strange illuminated mannequins
Shall I stay here at the zoo
Or should I go and change my point of view
For other ugly scenes
You did what you did to me
Now it's history I see
Things will happen while they can
I will wait here for my man tonight

It's easy when you're big in Japan
Oh, when you're big in Japan, tonight
Big in Japan, be tight
Big in Japan, ooh the eastern sea's so blue
Big in Japan, alright
Pay, then I'll sleep by your side
Things are easy when you're big in Japan
Oh, when you're big in Japan
Tonight
Big in Japan, be tight
Big in Japan, ooh the eastern sea's so blue
Big in Japan, alright
Pay, then I'll sleep by your side
Things are easy when you're big in Japan
Oh, when you're big in Japan

Oh, when you're big in Japan, tonight
Big in Japan, be tight
Big in Japan, ooh the eastern sea's so blue
Big in Japan, alright
Pay, then I'll sleep by your side
Things are easy when you're big in Japan

Btw one thing bro ,can you post some link of some instrumental music link with some specific instrument?
Like flute ,violin ,guiter based music ?Just based on such specific instrument.
I heard some of them ages ago when peoples used to hear cassette player.
But later never found most of them with either CD/MP3 version . Neither online not in bangladeshi market.
Just missing those nice Melody . Only instrumental though .
I have found the lonley shephard , ete d'mour , the great yellow river and Lambada and few like them , totally instrumental and no voice .
Searching for 500 miles in violin , hello ( Lionel Richie) guitar, Lambada in violin and few more . If you have those or can find please to upload here.

A nice violin piece !! Thanks for the tag.

It reminded me of 'Death is the road to awe', the OST from the film 'The fountain'.

I like this Rubab version.

Do you know of the West African instrument called Kora?? It is a 21-stringed one.

I believe Rohail Hyatt made use of it in one of his directed songs on Coke Studio. It also happens to be one my favourite songs with a real international collaboration going on. Cuban, Turkish, Pakistani, Malian, Italian and other musicians altogether in one song. Hyatt is a musical genius for mixing up these different sounds so perfectly together.

The West African instrument first features at 1:30

No I am not aware of Kora

It is a most exquisite instrument. Do listen to my posted two pieces and give your thoughts on it.

.......What you think of Morricone?

I am familiar with just one of his works - 'The good, the Bad and the Ugly'. I especially like the final duel scene.

Reading his wiki entry, it turns out that he also did work for 'The Battle of Algiers' about the Algerian freedom struggle. I have watched that film and it is quite a realistic film. Speaking of which, one of the characters, Colonel Matheiu, looks quite dangerous. Seems he was a former soldier in the French Resistance during WW2 and later took part in the France-Vietnam war :

Cuban?? In this same song?? I missed out that part. Which mins:secs??

He is, yes, for the reason you gave.

Are you familiar with another genius, the Indian films music director, A. R. Rahman?? He was the music director for the 2015 Iranian film, Muhammad: The Messenger of God.

I also like the Kanun ( or Qanun ) played in the beginning.

Some of the instrumentals reminded me of another Turkish song, 'Saza niye gelmedin', music composer a Jewish gentleman by name Eliyahu Sills.

Speaking of him, I like a Hebrew song of his called 'Durme durme', especially the flute at 2:18 mins.

Though I neither know Turkish nor Hebrew, I like both pieces.

Thanks for this.
