This song's from a malayalam movie.
I have always felt that this song didn't get the audience it deserves.Had it been a part of a hindi movie then may be this Kailash kher's song would have been associated more with Kashmir.

I had heard this song many years ago but it was on another video and have been watching that video ] over and over through the years until i was just recently able to track down the name of the song and original video, it definitely deserves a larger audience it is just so beautiful- the lyrics, the melody, the instruments used, the pace- everything!!
