So title explains it all..

Which is the world's most powerful/largest company?

There are few contenders : Google, Facebook, Exxon Mobil, Apple etc etc..

I think that it terms of 'influence', Google has the lead. I mean, Google can manipulate what information humanity sees and what it doesn't see...

But when it comes to most powerful/largest..Google might not make it on the top..There are other contenders..

My bet is on the undisputed oil king of the planet... Saudi Aramco

Here are few facts about Saudi Aramco :

Saudi Aramco is the world's largest oil company by miles!!!! It is a state-owned company head quartered in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Annual Revenue (2011) : $ 356 billion

Estimated Market Capitalization : $ 10 trillion (by financial times) !!!!!!!

Saudi Aramco alone holds 260 billion barrels of oil and ~ 280 trillion cubic feet natural gas reserves. :hitwall:

Saudi Aramco alone is larger than oil giants like Exxon Mobil, BP, Shell, and Chevron combined !!!!! [ whats up, b!tches? ]

Saudi Aramco is controlled & regulated by US & EU.

Microsoft might be the largest & most powerful, although it's losing its grip.
Apple & Google come at a close tie.

Saudi aramco is really controlled by US and EU. At any point they decide to cut off energy supplies on some fancy whim, rest assured--the entire world would be up in arms to seize control.

Saudi Arabia is not a powerful country at all, let alone Saudi aramco.

Personally, i think the most powerful companies in the world belong to the United States. It ranges from Microsoft and Google to the likes of Intel and General Electric.

They control the world, more or less.

Yeah, thanks for copying me bro.

CME Group
Barclay’s

Looking at the consumer brands: 10 companies command the most influence.

Why would they cut-off energy supply? lol..They make money out of it.

Secondly, Saudi Aramco is controlled by US/EU? Well, it is a rant. Saudi Aramco does what is best for it..simple as that.

Also, does it matter who controls the company? It still is the largest/most powerful company on the planet!

Not at all. China petrochem is the single energy firm that makes the list.
