"The only flaw in the thinking of these 'propagandists' is that the masses are far more interested in the protection of this country itself than its democracy. Precisely why, in the opinion of the patriots of this country, the propaganda of the ISI-bashers is going to backfire."

Two questions come to mind:

1. If the propaganda is going to backfire, then why worry about it?

2. Could it be that the masses really would prefer democracy over the military and it is only a select few "patriots" who are worried about that possibility since their privileged positions would be in jeopardy?

Yesterday i saw some women probably some activist accusing "agencies" of hazara town blast..... when the host and some other guest asked why would they do such a thing or why their offices are being targetted by militants... the old hag got confused.... these conspiracy theorists are a sad bunch!

One should investigate what and who is behind hate zardari- nawaj sharif campaign.

For the ISI one should ask it to introspect and find the reasons of its failure and daily bombings in pakistan.

For all its past activities since Zia Ul Haq created ISI, it as done nothing else except to interfere in the political process in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Kashmir.

If people hate ISI, they have reason to hate it. They bear the full responsibility of unseating Benazir twice, Nawaz Sharif twice, created Taliban which in its Pakistani incarnation is bombing most of Pakistan. They must bear full responsibilty for Mumbai carnage of innocent people.

Twice ISI supported incident lead to an almost war with India in last 12 years.

Believe it, ISi is a hated organization worst than CIA.

ISI :pakistan::pakistan:
WE DONT HATE IT WE LOVE IT THEY DO A LOT OF THINGS BUT KILLING HAZARAS AND INNOCENTS IS NOT ONE OF THEM
ISI IS A GOOD INTEL AGENCY
BUT THE PROBLEM IS THERE ARE TOO MANY TERRORISTS AND ALSO THEIR POLITICAL SYMPATHIZERS

not a single Pakistani Hate ISI.. but those who hate.. hate only to one wing "Political Wing".
BTW with all propaganda no one can take the credit to defeat "USSR". Ohh also the Best Islamic Intelligence Agency .

Think about it, if ISI was good at what it's job is supposed to be, would there be a conspiracy to bad mouth it? And if they were good at their job, even if there was a conspiracy, who would buy into it??

.
Another relevant question is. "Does an organization which does what does, because it thinks it needs to be done and does it if and when it suits them best with no one to counter them" even gives a flying faq as if to whats being said. From their perspective its irrelevant.

Intelligence agencies work in the shadows while the militaries secure the borders. Ours have put themselves in the political spectrum, making themselves visible and also liable to public criticism.

Why worry about it now when they've already made the jump into public affairs several times?

See that's what i mean, if they were good at what they are supposed to do "work in the shadows" none of this would have come up in the way it has.

To make all this go away, ISI must be successful at what it is supposed to do - but you know after so much failure, maybe they just do not know how to succeed

Wouldn't call it failure imo. Though they have distracted themselves too often (and too much) by indulging in matters that don't concern them. Recent years have been marginally better btw even though much needs to be done to turn their attention back to what they ought to be doing and to curb their "constitutional" powers.
