Western propaganda against Pak nuke program should stop: Musharraf

.
Yeah you signed off on that policy right?

If I was calling the shots up there, I would definitely keep a few ready to be used.

Pakistan has deployed nuclear tipped missiles at times of conflict with India, unless an American attack will be sudden, I think we're good.

Storing a nuclear warhead inside a missile is far more difficult than you think.

Further, once these warheads are mated with their missile, they cannot be stored in one place for long. Movements of this size and nature are very much detectable by satellites. This is the reason why no country can claim to have a second strike capability until it has a comprehensive SLBM force.

In my view, keeping warheads separately such that they can be "live-d" within a few hours notice improves secrecy and tactical advantage.

Why?

How do you deduce that from that!?

Mush was right. Shush, already!

AS you yourself said in an another thread that your top leadership is pro USA so what stops the USA from having a mole there to tell them where the warheads are ?

Regards

The answer is PA and ISI. Neither will allow corrupt leadership to compromise matters of national security.

Believe it or not nukes are our most precious material asset.

.
Please note the even Benazir didn't have this knowledge when she was in office as claimed by her in several interviews. What makes you think that Zardari or Sharif know more.

Do you mean to say that the PA has never been penetrated ?

Even the CIA has been penetrated so why not the ISI ?

No I do not. Both PA and ISI have their share of bad apples but the location of nukes is only known by few of top brass which I believe will never side with USA.

. .
even sometime ISI forget were is location of NUKES.so many interviews i seen of isi chefs they also don't know any thing abut nukes:enjoy:

It might be patriotic to believe that one's agencies are iron clad, but the reality is that everything leaks like a sieve, including the CIA or US defence!!

Ask China! ;)

:rofl:n as if corrupt political leadership knows where therse are

She wasn't given ISI briefings, and the use of Nuclear weapons falls under the chief executive of the state which is the Prime Minister.

The Military hasn't got a clue about them, the Nuclear program was initiated as a separate body it has nothing to do with the military, yes it is true that the Military will receive its toy, but hasn't specifically fallen under Military. In the 70's to hide the program, from outside elements, it was initiated under the scheme called "Housing Project" and was kept like this until something like mid 80s and during 90s it was made into complete body without any interference from Government.

Politician or not nobody needs to know these places of storage, the only places the world knows of Pakistani Nuclear program, are the Nuclear Facilities, as we to know of India it was declared by both states, for safety that we would not attack them out no reason as it contained consequences.

Using the CIA as the standard for internal security is probably a bad idea. Using US defense is an even worse idea. The US is a fairly liberal democracy, and those agencies are comprised mostly of civilians, who are not subject to the strict rules of conduct that members of military intelligence agencies are. The US defense machine employs thousands of foreign nationals who have immigrated from all over the globe. An engineer at Lockheed Martin is pretty much entirely beyond the security apparatus beyond a background check to earn a higher security clearance every now and again, If you want leak-proof, look at the mosad, and even they have
a scandal now and again
