West trying hard to rule Muslims, says MM Alam

KARACHI - The west is indeed trying hard to rule Muslim world by utilising cunning means but our leadership is blank and subservient to them.

Fighter pilot MM Alam said this while giving in a detail and exclusive interview to The Nation on Thursday.

MM Alam is famous for giving an edge to Pakistan Air Force in 1965, when a stunt of air-warfare by hitting five Indian fighter jets in a single air strike.

Citing case studies of Israel-Lebanon and the Indo-Pak conflict as the major rebuttal that needs to be dealt with in the line of direction, Alam said, “The sub-continent is a place where conflict is embedded and resistance is inbuilt in our nation.”

In this same related context, he said, “Israel has grown stronger than ever because of the commendable unity and strong leadership.

Zionists have stringent designs of greater Israel and the stronger they grow, hence stronger becomes this reality.”

On another front, he said Americans surely wanted weak and dependent Muslim states to rule over and suppress them.

What is actually amiss is none other than unity and faith in the Ummah, which could advocate peaceful co-existence. Conflict is surely, a reality that has ripped the nation-states apart but has served the purpose of those seated in power.

Strongly advocating a cause for transformative leadership that is genuinely required in the Muslim world, Alam said; “We need to produce leaders like Mao Zedong, Nehru, Ho Chi Mihn and Mustafa Kamal to grow beyond comparison. All the Muslim world requires is a structural change; otherwise we will surely lag behind and will become subservient at the global level.”

Citing major concerns that need to be dealt with the pertaining issues in the Muslim world, Alam regarded revival of Islamic learning and education as the basic criteria for the nation to grow strong and stable in the coming days ahead.

“Intellectual worth is fast declining in our country, and knowledge and knowledgeable people are never rewarded with respect.

Moreover, he said, that he was not a pessimist but a man of conscience.

For he believes that surely people and those who have a strong conscience it matters that they stand up for and against the wrong ills facing the society.

Actually it is pretty easy for the West. 90% of msulim countries have got dictators, so if USA can just buy out the dictator, then they have the entire country under their defacto control.

India isnt ruled by a dictator but US forced her to vote against Iran

Dear it isnt the dictatorship but mostly the weakness and selfishness of Arab countries which had led to Muslims' depandance on big powers.

Now only Pakistan can not drag it out of this crises we need collective support.

And Cheetah you are right. Its not the matter of anti-Arab its just that they have this selfishness element

Every country's leadership is cunning.

But if some love to be subservient, then the cunning will obviously take advantage of such foolish leadership.

What's new in that?

India has foolish Emperors and so the British 'cunningly" made a fool of them till the Indians woke up to the game and pushed them out!

Look at the foolish Arab leadership that grovels before Uncle Sam. Totally subservient.

But look at Hezbollah. They are not subservient. They held up the might for 30 days!

Iran (maybe foolishly, if you wish) is not being subservient. They are keeping everyone on tenterhooks.

Why blame the West or the US or Bush. They enjoy playing games with those who want to remain slaves for life! In fact, they are being kind in that they are agreeing to be Masters to those who kowtow before them.

So the moral is : stop kowtowing! and stop whining!

Bring back the self respect that was there before!

Today AQ Khan is being treated as a criminal! True, he did things wrong, but then he did it for Pakistan!And it is wrong to believe that he lugged a reactor or whatever out of Pakistan and none knew of the same!

AQ Khan has been sold to save some others!
