West Bengal is probably a lost case. It will either go to Bangladesh or form a new country first and then join Bangladesh. But it will be more Islamic for Bangladesh.
The problem is elsewhere.
After the Bengali Muslims create an Islamic state, and the surrender and expulsion of the Bengali Hindus the Indian Eastern command will get the mandate to clean the mess. They are located in Calcutta itself. And there will be no opposition to a complete cleansing of the entire Muslim population. The Sangh from other states and expelled Bengali Hindus will join in. West Bengal will be reclaimed and made Muslimfrei.

How about some clever economic methods, like all Hindus form a network to keep property within community. Best way to control a fire is to deign it oxygen. muslims gamble by increasing population, hoping they get resources just because of population. the problem is Hindu Bengalis are for the most part law abiding people except for some ruffians who are involved in illegal liquor and illegal coal mining business...they are afraid that the state will come after them if they are involved in mob action..I mean come on, if you have a career ahead of you will you risk everything and join in mob action? nope, you have too much to lose..and if you are locked up in jail, who is stopping the mobs of other community from molesting your womenfolk? ...In these sort of situations, moving out is the only option.....
There is extreme fear among Hindus that mob action will mean police going after Hindus rather than Muslims

Best way to tackle is

1) Comprehensive Economic Boycott
2) Building of gated private townships (this is also the only way India can ever become clean, it is not in the nature of Indians to keep things clean unless they are given ownership)

3) Communal celebration of Saraswati and Durga Puja and other cultural functions associated with them
This would send a message that identification with Bengali ethnicity is only possible through cultural/religious
celebrations such as this

4) Inculcating a new Bengali Muslim identity fused with so much Dharma, that it becomes practically indistinguishable

5) Arabic, Persian,Central Asian elements of Bengali Muslim identity should be squarely mocked to non-existence.


Bengalis a bit west to the border are still not feeling the heat because of the middle class there being completely Hindu....10 years from now Bengal would be bloodbath..time to get ready and think long term

at least in West Bengal make celebration of Durga Puja compulsory in gated townships..even the most secular and atheistic of Bengali upper-class Bhadrolok get caught up in the celebrations of Durga Puja...but particularly this Puja is seen with abhorrence in the Muslim community..No Puja,No Entry...anways best is to plan ahead..I gurantee before 2030 there will be things happening in West Bengal that will make 2002 Gujarat seem as cute late winter coffee and cake parties
