Wen backs greater international role for India

If India has a problem with the trade balance, then they don't need to trade with us.

No one is forcing them to do it.

Nothing revolve around your silly trolls..!

We got trade deficit and we made it clear to wen and this old man assured us in reducing it by opening up chiness market for indian IT and Pharama....!

If you got problem with that then write a letter to wen and tell him not to visit india and cut off all the ties with us plss don't whine here..:coffee:

.
The propblem is you are continuing buying our goods but dont have anything that we want that you can selling it back to us hence the trade deficit, it is not really our problem , until u can come up with something that we want this trade deficit will be here to stay for a while yet.

Yep the issue is as simple as this.

Yes we are continuing to buy your goods for our own intrests cause your products are relatively cheaper then manufacturers from other countries..! It is in our intrest thats why we purchase it from you to save money..!

Partially agree with you but just a focus on bolded part..!

Its not like we don't have anything that you want..! We got these things better then you have(IT,PHarma) But your markets are closed cause of protectionism and that is what we told to wen jiabao that open your markets so that trade deficit will decline...!

LOL what a joke. :azn:

Here is an article about protectionism from Bloomberg Businessweek:

Russia and the U.S. have the most protectionist trade measures among the Group of 20 leading industrialized countries, according annual rankings released today in Hong Kong by the International Chamber of Commerce.

India and Argentina came third and fourth, while China was ranked sixth, just after Brazil, the Paris-based ICC said in the report, compiled by the Washington-based Peterson Institute for International Economics. Saudi Arabia was the nation with the fewest measures aimed at protecting its own trade.

Russia, U.S. Most Protectionist in Group of 20 - BusinessWeek

India has more protectionist measures than China, so why should we open up our side?

China has its own IT and pharma industry, the India's sector only advantage is cost (lol @ the irony of you slagging off low costs products), for the higher tech Chinese companies need, they seek partnership with American companies.

You people are disingenuous.

Why do you need to ask. It's a clear ego salve. The Chinese produce cheap crap but close their doors to our awesome high tech high value (debatable) IT and Pharma sector.

Nevermind that China's IT and Pharma sector more than fulfill its own needs (also major exporter) and nevermind these sectors at full capacity can only account for a tiny percentage of whatever bi-lateral trade that happens.

.
. .
If that is the case, why is China asking India for a FTA

As the Businessweek article said, India has more protectionist measures than China does.

So an FTA would work in our favour.

Edit: Cardsharp already answered it.

.
If you can comprehend my post again then you can see that i said about protectionism in terms of IT and Pharma sector...:agree:

And that is where we want more indian export in china..!

At full capacity, what percent of trade do you think these industries can account for?

and please please please show me some evidence there are actual protectionist policies in place in China against IT and Pharma. You can't just make sht up.

You people are disingenuous.

People import if you can get cheaper products else where. China built a economy to reckon with through exports...and here you are eulogizing Chinese companies as if they are inventors of high tech

@Bolded part : Why you feel offended by that? It is the basic advantage that we have over many country's.
But if you think that way then i can;t help you out sorry..!

I know China has its own IT and Pharam industry..!
But India not only have advantage in cost but also in Quality
in this sector(IT&Pharma)...And that is the reason we pushed these talks in front of wen jiabao and he agreed to take a look at thia matter for reducing the trade deficiate..

Hence, Your silly comments like(why we open our market and all will go to drain..once we do export in these matters..If you don't wana open this route plss ask wen not to go ahead and stop wasting your time here..cause neither you are diplomet nor me...!:agree:

Actually, exports make up only 35% of China's economy.

Nowhere close to the levels that exist in exporter nations like Germany and South Korea, which are both at around 50% of GDP.
