Nope Rishikesh is around 250 km away ...
Nanital is in kumaon region of Uttrakhand ..... Many peaks are already capped with snow across Himalayan belt.....
Seems you get lost in those pics ....

Yes for a moment or two I did wish that I was there(in naini). The thing is I luv snow without having seen an actual snowfall. Lol

Don't ppl fall in love with Taj Mahal without having actually seen it??
I hv seen snowfall on TV and also my fren's (In US) share pics of snowfall. You can blame it all on my imagination.

I want to visit Dehradun, Naini and Ranikhet.
@Dash remember once you and me were planning for a trek , let's make it to this place. Would be much easier to climb. Lol

google before you plan out to go for trekking n camping here in uttranchal ... Check Har Ki Doon valley .... There are plenty places far better than Nainital if you are looking for natural beauty ....

Please don't give too much 'publicity' to Rishikesh. It's among the few places where the rivers are still unpolluted. You publicize it too much and soon people will swarm there like locusts and destroy it's ecosystem. I went there 10 years ago and still remember the place like yesterday!
