we could learn a thing or two from India in respect of certain animals.

Condemning the decision, Rajasthan's lone Rajya Sabha member Sagarika Ghose said BJP leaders claim they hold their motto 'sabka sath sabka vikas' in high esteem yet they preach hindutva ideology.

What malarkey! Killing of tigers and elephants is banned because they are endangered animals. Not becoz people worship them. They numbers are rapidly dwindling due to illegal poaching for tiger skin, bones and other parts and elephants tusks which fetch huge profits in the black market!

Yes people (mostly tribals) worship tigers as "guardian of Forest".
