How hard is that seriously? BJP does have support of few big corporations so why not buy mainstream media thru third parities and slowly stop giving any platform to "seculars.

Well.. corporates play both sides of the aisle! It's more to do with deep rooted mindset cultivated by the ruling elites for the past 60 odd years among established journalists & the media organisations they represent! You can not change that mindset by force or by reason! You have to understand the fact that most of these so called liberal media & it's journalists were flourishing at the mercy of ideology that ruled India for it's major part! So it's only natural that these guys will show stubborn loyalty towards the bone that's being thrown at them all this while by their masters! Only way to overcome this mindset is by giving opportunity to the counter view & narrative to be heard!

I have been following members like @jamahir @isupportaap. They are the real faithful type. I can see it in their posts.

They can be as brutal as ISIS if given an opportunity. Inhumane acts like beheadings and burnings are like childrens play for these mens. They are men without any humanity left inside of them. These are the men we need.

Exactly. Places like JNU/social studies depts are controlled by extreme leftist types, that used to flourish during the 80s, these people are now part of the upper levels teaching staff/administration of the university. Even though the atmosphere isnt as left dominated as it used to be, administration/teaching staff is a sort of private club that is very hard to change, and will change slowly.

So while the slow change occurs at the already existing univs, start newer ones that can be utilized immediately. Good move by the govt.

The headline is just needless sensationalism (as expected from scroll.in (troll.in?) type of sites), based off absolutely nothing. It's just a school of journalism that wont have a sick self hating mentality (hopefully).

Apart from that, yeah we could use some better quality reporters...hopefully no more like Rajdeep, Sagarika, Barkha dutt etc.
