'Welcome Back' gets a record-breaking opening in Pakistan

John Abraham and Shruti Haasan's Welcome Back has taken the box office by storm. And no, not just in India, but in Pakistan too, the film is a huge success. The comedy, a sequel to the 2007 Welcome, hit the screens on September 4. While in India, it saw a staggering box office collection amounting to Rs 14.35 crore on Day 1, on Day 2, the film earned Rs 17.05 crore. On its first Sunday, Welcome Back was welcomed at the movies with Rs 19.60 crore in the country.

Now, according to the producers of the film, Welcome Back has seen a massive box office collection in Pakistan in its first two days. The box office figures from the neighbouring country are Rs 3.4 crore.
