What's new

We won against government

no I missed that scene. Jaspal Bhatti is also a good man who has been protesting against corruption for quite a long time.
can u tel us what he said on stage

Watched on TV .......jaspal bhatti and party brought corruption devta and did bhajan kirtan for him

victory for the people!! next step.. stop all the criminals from contesting elections!!

^^^ I thnk next is..introspection for all those common people who participated in this protest...and also who morally supported it
Its time we change ourselves as well...they wont take bribe, if we dont offer them.

nice thought! but we are so used to this... it's not going to be easy to change ourselves. there has to be a start though!! hope this is the begining. however.. i'm still sceptical about this whole thing. will this bill be passed by the parliament?? netas will not let this go thru that easily. maybe we will have to have another agitation to get this thru the parliament & make this into law!!

MMS is morally corrupt.

MMS alone doesn't constitute the whole govt or party. MMS has two choices. change the corrupt system by being a part of it or watch it from outside & do nothing about it. i think he chose to be a part of the system & is trying to change it within. i believe the guy is honest.. it's just that there is too many obstacle infront of him!!

I completely agree with this. But I wish MMS could speak a little bit more he is just too quiet

well.. maybe he is just being clever about the whole thing by not making loud noice in the public. if he does that.. it will have an adverse effect on the party & the govt. on top of that opposition will have an undue advantage & they will try to make the most of it. In private.. he might be ruffling some feather. you never know!!

WoW ..great news... a change without any blood shed... good going..

that change is only for few days or weeks...

the rate that corruption skyrocketed in india, leaders should be put behind prison including the president for not having any guts to speak against it.

Of course man, the politicians are smarter. But in my opinion it is a positive sign in the way that it lets people know that the situation is not hopeless. At least it will help the people realize that they can use their mass power to bring in the change they want to see.

i think it's people who are at fault for electing these leaders...after all those leaders were elected from a society itself..

but good luck although....i don't like this small steps taken by only few individuals....

Some jobs pending-

1) Analize how 'Lokayukta's are functioning in different states. If necessary powers of 'Lokayuktas should be increased?

2)Bringing parity in functioning of 'Lokayuktas' in different states?

3) Persuade government members in panel to give power to Lokapal to initiciate actions on his own or on the basis of public complaints?

4) How to deal with thousands of compliants which the Lokapal will be facing? How to deal with frivolous complaints?

5) How to recover the amount from a executive who has embezzled public funds?

6) How to give Justice in a short time? How will the investigating agency help the Lokapal/Lokayukta in this regard?

And above all.....maintain the enthusiasm we have shown to keep India clean of corruption by showing courage to say 'no' corrupt officers and complaining against them........
