E-posta

TAI Genel Müdürü Temel Kotil İstanbul Düşünce Vakfı’nın toplantısında T129 ATAK Helikopteri ve Hürkuş’taki son gelişmeler hakkında bilgiler verdi.

TAI Genel Müdürü Temel Kotil, İstanbul Düşünce Vakfı tarafından düzenlenen toplantıda “ATAK helikopterimizi kontrollü olarak satabiliyoruz, önümüzdeki aylarda Pakistan’a satacağız” dedi.

Pakistan Kara Havacılık Komutanlığı’nın isteği doğrultusunda T129 ATAK Taarruz ve Taktik Keşif Helikopteri 21-31 Mayıs 2016 tarihleri arasında Pakistan’ın zorlayıcı iklim ve coğrafi koşullarında, Pano Aqil’de 50 derecede yüksek sıcaklık testlerini, Himalayalar’ın başlangıcı Hindikuş Dağları’nda ise 14.000 feet’te yüksek irtifa testlerini gerçekleştirmişti.

Öte yandan Kotil, Milli Savunma Bakanı Fikri Işık’ın Türk Havacılık ve Uzay Sanayii tesislerini ziyareti sırasında gündeme getirdiği ‘İnsansız Hürkuş’ konusunda ise büyük bir ihtimalle insansız modelinin yapılmayacağını söyledi.

T129 ATAK Attack and Tactical Reconnaissance Helicopter at the request of the Pakistani Land Aviation Command has conducted high temperature tests at 50 degrees in Pano Aqil during the forced climate and geographical conditions of Pakistan between 21 and 31 May 2016 and at the beginning of the Himalayas in the Hindikush Mountains He performed high altitude tests at 14,000 feet.
TAI General Manager Temel Kotil gave information about the latest developments in T129 ATAK Helicopter and Hürkuş at the Istanbul Thought Trust meeting. TAI General Manager Temel Kotil said in a meeting organized by the Istanbul Thought Foundation that "ATAK can sell our helicopters under control, we will sell them to Pakistan in the coming months."

There goes any hope of establishing a local helicopter industry.

you don't stop buying today and start making it yourself tomorrow, this deosn't stop anyone from making their own, takes time to build one in fact takes decades to make one and in the mean time you buy

It seems Pakistan going to purchase mix attack Helo US Cobra, TAI 129 and Chinese Z-10 to counter massive Indian Tanks on border.

for those tanks Pakistan has other plans :) which involves roasting

wht about the engine future sanction problems...

I think PA is in finalizing the deal of T-129's and in coming months we will see another break-through in Milgem Corvette deal as well .. I hope Pakistan will buy at least 50+ unit of T-129 and replace them with Aging Cobra, and also keep the 15 AH-Z1's with a follow up Order of 15 more .. Inshallah
@T-123456 @Sinan @cabatli_53 @fatman17 @Bilal Khan 777 @Bilal Khan (Quwa) ? guys you have any info ?

Great , I know we can count on Turkey just like we can count on China. But is this Helicopter 100% Turkish tai? Or is it prone to sanctions?

What if we test a weapon in future that threatens usa's interest in the region, or what if we do something to India in near future that the West doesn't like .

Hmmm, interesting decision considering all the sanction-prone history of relations between Pakistan and western states, it's surprising that we'd want a chopper that is prone to sanctions.

TOT first then our own .:)

TOT? the chopper has US made engines and European avionics, those countries aren't even willing for TOT (Transfer of Technology) to Pakistan.

It's all marketing and nothing else. Pakistan is yet to decide whether or not to induct ATAK. The trials were satisfactory with a few hiccups here and there.
