We want to attract Indian students: Japanese ambassador to India

I have an Italian-American hybrid. :D

Hahaha nice. Problem solved.

LOL!

:D

Yeah, you successfully took away my childhood friend from me, he's a Japanese now. I heard that getting a Japanese citizenship is easy but getting Japanese PR is very difficult task, is it true??

Japanese Residency is easy and many employers are now sponsoring PR for international candidates. Japanese Citizenship is easy after you have Permanent Residency. So long as you are a PR, have lived in Japan for at least 5 years, fluent in Japanese, have a job in Japan, then citizenship is streamlined.

Or you can always marry Japanese, then you become citizen automatically, LOL.

Your friend -- he / she was Singaporean? How he / she like living in Japan.

Yeah, she was a Singaporean. She feels Singapore and Japan are almost the same when it comes to expense but she loves Japan for his culture and language and yeah, she married a Japanese :D

Yeah, they are smart and well groomed but Indian students won't get attracted towards Japan for the following reason.

1) Language
2) Getting job is hard (Part-time included)
3) Expensive
4) FOOD :D

This would hold good for Germany as well but Germans have attracted a ton of Indian students. Most Indians are multi lingual, so learning another language isn't a big deal. The only thing that will eventually matter is the quality of education provided and cost of education.

Japan has a lot to teach India (I'm sure they can learn a thing or two from India as well in the process) and this is the best way for enabling a strong lasting relationship between the countries.
