This is a bit of a lost cause, there is no way you can compare Zaid Hamid with Subramaniam Swamy. This guy has a Phd from & was a visiting professor at Harvard. His comments can simply not be explained by the likes of us. He is without doubt an incredibly smart guy but his views on such things are in a league of its own. Best to let it pass.

No second doubts about his intellect (on days when he makes sense). I won't ever compare his intellect with that of Zaid Hamid. But I have serious doubts over his mental health. A lot of super-brilliant folks do suffer from schizophrenia and paranoia. On the days that he exhibits such symptoms, the similarities in their character traits are too obvious to miss though.

Maybe you should read before you feel the need to enlighten us with your intellectual observations. I was pointing out that Subramaniam Swamy because of his background cannot be compared to Zaid hamid & there is no point using Zaid Hamid's comparison to justify Swamy's obviously weird comments on the topic under discussion.

I made exactly your point that Swamy was out of his depth in a discussion with Hamid gul on defence matters just as much as Hamid Gul would be on economics. I did agree with the another poster that he was stupid to get himself into that discussion.
