This thread is their only hope to be happy. Are you guys so mean that you wanna take this fun also taken away from them by telling the truth?? Just stop posting. Jai Hind!

A single general says something and Pakistanis are jumping up and down.Do you how many Pakistani generals have criticized Pakistan's actions in previous wars.Should I start posting links and articles regarding the same? There is nothing called loosing and winning in a conflict like kargil. What happened in Kargil?Intruders came into Indian territory and they were flushed out slowly. The Pakistanis were at a advantageous position sitting on top of peaks and the Indians had to clear peak after peak from bottom which resulted in heavy casualties .Also remember that Pakistan had lost almost the same number of soldiers as India if not more.clearing the mountains was the sacred duty of the IA which they did brilliantly. As i understand there are one or two peaks which are still under Pakistani control and if you guys think it s a big victory then god be with you.

PS-Dear fellow Indian members , please don't waste your time trying to prove India won the war because as I mentioned before there is nothing called winning or loosing in this king of conflicts. These guys are having their moment , let them enjoy their imaginary victory.

What did he say? He said that we lost more lives than expected...Where is the word lost? And btw...i am yet to come across any credible link that says India lost the war....we just lost more lives than we would have wanted..
Understand the difference between 'more lives lost than expected' and 'war lost'
Kargil War: A Glorious Victory for India
Uh!

Reality doesnt need any link, it speaks itself. Well, as far as your question, "where is the word lost" is concerned, do you need a 'blue board' with following words on it:
"The color of this board is blue".

There is no way anyone won the war, no one in history has ever won a war because the cost of war is not known to us civilians only the soldiers know it and while we can talk about how cool war is like its in a videogame but when this comes both sides lose, and war is a thing in which young men die and old men boast of..........

kargil war is the most greatest blunder in the history. It took the Army to recognize the fallen Heroes the whole ten years. The most pathetic situation and disgrace in the hands of enemy. Thank God my army did not do such things, in fact they paid full tribute to fallen martyrs. The Political establishment caused the worst blunder.
Here many dont even realize that U people claimed no involvement in the war and now chest thump? Great, Do us a favor dont insult soldiers.

Not convinced we won Kargil: Lt Gen Kishan Pal to NDTV
A General who led the Indian Army on ground in the Kargil conflict, has broken his 11-year silence to say that he believes India actually lost the war in strategic terms.

In an exclusive interview to NDTV, Lieutenant-General Kishan Pal, who was then the head of the Srinagar-based 15 Corps, says India has failed to consolidate its tactical gains. Asked for his assessment of the conflict 11 years later, Gen Pal told NDTV: "Well for 11 years I did not speak at all...I did not speak because I was never convinced about this war, whether we really won it...We did gain some tactical victories, we regained the territories we lost, we lost 587 precious lives. I consider this loss of war because whatever we gained from the war has not been consolidated, either politically or diplomatically. It has not been consolidated militarily." Gen Pal was recently in a controversy involving the battle performance report of one of his juniors, Brigadier Devinder Singh. Speaking to NDTV, the then Army chief General VP Mailk refused to get into the debate but said there was little doubt who won that war.

we did gain some tactical victories..we regained back the territory we lost...we lost 587 precious lives..i consider this as loss of war because whatever we gained from this war it has not been consolidated, either politically or diplomatically and worst of all it cause me cynisism and dismay that it has not been consolidated militarily..we ended up opening more posts and putting more divisions there...how long and how far we will open up these posts..

given above are the exact words that he said :)
now go back to videos of najim sethi and asghar khan and listen carefully what he said :)
