I read about this statement elsewhere today. I think this is a great opportunity for both Israel and Pakistan to issue statements assuring each other that they shouldn't be at odds. Then, some back channel diplomacy to pursue Israelis to respect Pakistan's issues with India and view their relationship with India disconnected with Pakistan. Of course, that doesn't mean they won't sell weapons, but confidence building measures would make both Israel and Pakistan respect each other, as well as this relationship would turn out to be better for the world.

All Arab nations have diplomatic relations with Israel and more. Not sure why Pakistan can't do that with her own interests in mind. There is a lot to be learned from Israel's growth. Let's say Pakistan and Israel have an agreement to share know-how about IT or some other field of engineering (non-military obviously), what does Pakistan has to lose? nothing, its a win-win situation.

There are some good scholars (both on the Muslim and Jewish side) out there who are digging into the past both from a theological and historical standpoint and their insights are quite telling.
