The answer is in your question itself.
A question arise then. Why this question is asked by someone who call himself "wise one" ?

this is not the first time. pakistanis spend way too much time analyzing the statements of low level functionaries. there are some in the indian media who are in the same boat.

.
They said no boots on the ground. They didn’t say no drones in the air.

Who said no boots on the ground?

Read the transcript. No hot pursuit. Hot Pursuit: chase from Afghanistan to Pakistan. You don't need pursuit when you're already blessed to operate within Pakistan. :azn:

A us army spokesman can speak on its own and express his own opinion as if "us key bapp ki fauj hay"

There has been a rise of such rhetoric against Pakistan in the US press for quite sometime. Wonder what the hell is the Pak. embassy doing to counter such articles and present another view of the country in the press?

Actions speak far more louder than words. :p:

.
pentagon spokesperson is a low level functionary
:disagree::lol::rofl::enjoy: so who you want to say similar speech to consider a high level functionary are you want to do similar press conference by Secretary of defense or Mr President than you consider them as a high level functionary @wiseone2 :sarcastic:

.
if that happens than last efforts of keeping Pakistan US relationship will die an instant death .. Nato supply will be shut for months, and that will effect the War in Afghanistan, which will eventually hurt US and allied Forces .

Trust me, the relation will be as it is. Your leaders will have a few more bargaining chips that's about it.

LOL they cant fight Talibans on Afghan side but they will fight Pakistani tribals + those fleeing Taliban + Pakistan Army
Makes a lot of sense....Afghan terrain is like newly paved road when compared to Pakistani Tribal area terrain.
They crushed a million strong Iraqi war-machine in 45 days in 1991, and overwhelmed entire Iraq in a span of 21 days in 2003.

Which country do you think US threatened to destroy [soon] after 9/11? Pakistan dodged the bullet because Pervez Musharraf was not an idiot.

Not just that but few people are aware of the fact that Bush administration contemplated subjecting Balochistan and KPK to overwhelming firepower in pursuit of Taliban (and other rogue elements) in 2004 but Musharraf convinced the Americans to consider drone strikes instead in order to avert a major humanitarian crises in the region.

Geography-wise, much of Afghanistan is mountainous. However, geography is not the problem; Afghans are too fragmented and tribal to mend their differences anytime soon. After toppling Taliban-led regime, US established a new government in Afghanistan and expected it to achieve legitimacy throughout the country but this didn't happen - scores of Afghan tribes want to restore Taliban-led regime and continue to offer resistance to the new government. US is stuck in this mess.

Nonetheless, US is never short on firepower. And Pakistan has much more to loose than Afghanistan. Comparing Pakistan to Afghanistan is like comparing an apple to orange - does not make sense. Pakistan is relatively much more developed and conventional.

What solution US have for Pakistani nuclear missiles? They attack Iraq after all scud missiles destroyed by Iraq. Pakistan is not Iraq
