We had to take defensive measures at all times after the Balakot strike: Air Marshal Nohwar

Yaar 30 Rafale kiyaa ukhaar lein gey?
Jabb 250 SU-30 Fail ho gaey?

Think about the story this way. MKI did not get shot down, but Mig-21 shot down F-16.

Anyway, even if 1 MKI got shot down, it was just 1 skirmish. When it comes to aircraft of similar generation, you win some, you lose some.

Regardless Rafale numbers are necessary to climb to 72 over the next few years, especially considering China in the mix, and the Rafales are needed to take out SAM sites. So it doesn't change anything anyway.

In current situation, such statements serves two purposes as 1) for support of Rafale & forcing Indian SC to back down 2) just tell that how PAF owned the battle while IAF was helpless.......... just because this is election time, issue confession & then direct online media trolls to sugar coat the same as a political stunt/Rafale love so the people will get used to it and forget what really happened. Bravo strategy in these times.

I don't mind at all. You should do your best to keep up with India's modernisation. You have my full support.

These should have been 2 separate points. This is for supporting the Rafales, indeed. But this in no way interferes with the SC process. The SC will quash this petition also.

The story is we wouldn't have lost Mig-21 had it been for Rafales. But we know that in real life, even with Rafale, the Mig-21 would have been shot down anyway, in the same scenario.

Apparently, this tweet somewhat goes against the present government. It implies, though very subtly, that the Balakot strikes were carried out, without giving due considerations to its implications.
Basically they were surprised, shocked

What about two fronts war?:D.Majority indian said here su30 & Rafale were for china only, while upgraded mig2000, Jaguars, Mig29, mig27 & upgraded mig 21 were enough against Pakistan 3.5 and 4 gen fighters.

I don't believe that India can even remotely think of having any armed conflict with China, in coming future. Even this idea would be very frightening for them. What is left, is Pakistan and that appears to be the key target.

I am indeed referring to the above. There's nothing to implicate anyone of any wrongdoing in these papers.

That's stupid. That's not how we have divided our forces.

Chinese presence on the Indian border is very limited, so most of our air force is pointed towards Pakistan. Only recently, PLAAF forces have climbed to about 50 operational jets on the border. And only recently have the Chinese started making their air bases operational, after Doklam.

And, due to mid air refuelling, pretty much the entire air force can be used on both fronts.
