It's the Chinese who clarified the truth for the benefit of all Indians. I expect Jayshanker to lose his job for such embarrassing incompetence. I expect Modi to continue to seek clarification from Beijing in future such instances. He doesn't really need a foreign minister.

India had always claimed Galwan valley as Indian territory until Modi gave up in his speech.
