Yeah right, Lurpak butter is heavily used everywhere in Dubai. The real trouble is, that Europe is evidently super Islamophobic or bigoted or racist or just plain dangerous for Muslims.

There was one thing when these Cartoons were the act of private organizations and individuals, but these days Official legislation is out persecute Muslims - Most prominently in France and the Swiss Minaret ban...

But Pakistan is an Islamic country with a Blasphemy law, and you really cannot complain if other states are have such legislation. in French schools you are not allowed to even wear christian cross or other religious symbols. So they treat everyone equally. I dont visit and ever will because I dont agree with their laws on reoligion and women. So if muslims dont like what french / swiss govt does, they can always go back , isnt it? Agin u can protest , but not violently.

The Danish are apologizing because of the double standard exposed recently when their own government prosecuted two Arabs for drawing cartoons which the government considered racist.

Yes, the same government which vehemently defended "freedom of speech" when anti-Muslim cartoons were published is all upset about a cartoon mocking the Holocaust.

Lurpak is a small part of danish economy, their expertise lies in high precision engineering equipment and their economy is larger than pakistan's currently. They have a population of about 5 mil.

By that logic, the Danes are waaaay ahead of India in terms of per-capita GDP. But, then again, Indians always forget that they are on par with Pakistan in terms of per-capita GDP.

Wrong. The French law bans Muslim headscarfs, but allows small Christian crosses and Jewish star-of-David pendants. The weasel word in the law is "conspicuous". Headscarves are "conspicuous"; small pendants are not. How convenient.

So if muslims dont like what french / swiss govt does, they can always go back , isnt it?

How about the (millions of) Muslims who are born in France or Switzerland? Are they not entitled to be first-class citizens?

I am really at a loss to say what is right and what is wrong in this case.
You cannot equate cartoons with killing. And the fact is a Dutch filmguy was killed for the same reason (different incident) by a Muslim. Should the killer be forgiven? The Danish are only apologizing because of the terror that the muslims have unleashed and this is what is giving them a bad name. This can be compared to the MF husain thread that is still alive in this forum.

But here in Islam its a difference case, first of all we do not have any symbols in Islam and he was giving the picture of Prophet that is wrong. Secondly he was showing the bomb in his turbon that you have perhaps not noticed....... if i make a idol or a portrait of Shiva showing a bomb in his turbon will you like that picture?

Thirdly in Islam if anybody disrespects the Prophets of Islam (from Adam PBUH to Muhammad PBUH) in an acceptable manner........He should be punished with with. This is the Law that has been made to make sure the Holy Prophets are always named with respect since they are the most exalted in the house of Allah.

This punishment is fair also, since we Humans have created all the Laws....... it doesn't really matter......... if you can decide to put a man into prison for 14 or so years just because he killed a person you can also give him a death sentence for doing such acts. For Allah, nothing is closer than Prophets to whom he exalted and higher their status. Though all the Prophets were cursed in their Lands but once they are dead.......... everybody came to accept that they were Prophets (all peoples of book) and respecting them is manadatory in Islam

So you are saying the killing is ok? It is ok for you to go to some other country and kill their citizens because they insulted the prohet? What about the same man made laws in that country?
Have you thought that the islamic laws applicable to Muslims is not applicable to Hindus / Christian?

Also, Hindus have a problem if you draw their gods in a pornographic way. THe nude idols have never been the main gods that are worshipped like Lakshmi, parvati or Sita or Ram , Krishna etc. The nude ones are typically apsaras (simlar to angels )etc. they are around but never worshipped in main temples.

If you know in the west, of and on. images of Ganesha/Shiva appeared on underwear, slippers and even toilet covers. Did the Hindu community go and kill the manufacturers? they did protest peacefully and making some noise, and got the apology from them and after that End of matter. cant the muslim community do somehthing similar in this case?

Finally I agree that muslims revere their prophets be it Muhammad or jesus and one should not make fun intentionally.

How about preaching the same 'sane ideologies' in west, dear you? Did west never ask to 'HANDOVER' alleged / comitted criminals from East and more particularly from Muslim world? Did west not go for extra-judicial execution, all in the name of democracy, implementing 'INTERNATIONAL' demand, and what not. more frequently than any one else.

How come west's FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION, take muslim ideology / belief / religion as a target board, every time they need to use thier so called right ?

No body in east will tolerate an insult to religion and its concept. Hindus are no exception. Hindus did raise thier voice, which they must, about any insult, but more peacefully. I agree. Here muslims need to take a leaf out of this attitude, from Hindus.
