So most of the indian people are saying that it was maratha that devasted the mughal empire,they weakened the afghans and that marathas were the superpower at their peak. How truth is in this and how strong was the mighty maratha empire? comments sre to be unbaised and billateral.

Nope the Marathas did not destroy the Mughals although they won many battles against the Mughals especially under Bajirao 1.

The Mughal empire was destroyed by the British and the Sikh empire. The Sikhs also destroyed the durrani empire founded by Ahmed Shah Abdali. The Afghans and bloody Pashtuns lost all 4 wars against the Sikhs especially when Maharaja Ranjit Singh was the emperor of the sikh empire.

Some accounts of what Ahmed Shah Durrani did to the Sikh Empire:

"Marching with alacrity, he overtook the Sikhs as they were withdrawing into the Malva after crossing the Sutlej. The moving caravan comprised a substantial portion of the total Sikh population and contained, besides active fighters, a large body of old men, women and children who were being escorted to the safety of the interior of the country. Surprised by Ahmad Shah, the Sikhs threw a cordon round those who needed protection, and prepared for the battle. Continuing their march in this form, they fought the invaders and their Indian allies desperately. Ahmad Shah succeeded, in the end, in breaking through the ring and glutted his spite by carrying out a fullscale butchery. Near the village of Kup, near Malerkotia, nearly 25,000 Sikhs were killed in a single day's battle (5 February 1762), known in Sikh history as Vadda Ghallughara, the Great Killing."

"From the capital, Durrani returned to Amritsar and blew up the Harimandir Sahib which since 1757 the Sikhs had rebuilt. As a deliberate act of sacrilege, the pool around it was filled with cow carcasses"

So I wouldn't exactly act as if the Pashtuns were completely destroyed if I were you (but please, do note that I condemn such actions).

It was unfortunately the spy who gave the secret information of syed ahmad and his army after which they had surprisely taken the sikh's army at ballakot and were outnumbered.

Mughal Empire was destroyed due to Aurangzeb's Thirst of power.

1: Forcing Rajputs to convert and trying to make some Muslim noble as a new king of Mewar and Marwar after death of their Hindu king thus rebellion of mughal vassal kings and Rajputs in the Mughal Army.

2: Angering Afghan population due to some diplomatic and cultural disagreement and rebellion of Afghans in the Mughal Army.

3: starting new Wars against strong Muslim Kingdoms in the Deccan just because they were Shias.

4: fighting costly wars in South against both Shia kingdoms and Marathas while trying to repress the Rebellion started by Rajputs and Afghans drained the mughal treasury and power.

in my opinion these were main reasons that caused Death of Mughal empire.

Mughal Empire collapsed because the Kings and Princes were listening to Mujra shows and Laying drunk every night instead of growing their economy , or knowledge.

When their King Abba Died , they wanted to control over territory and then chaos happened every 60-40 year cycle
