Didn't watch the video. My advise would be to plan properly, take account of past experiences of other travelers, and be safe than sorry. India is what it is. Neither I can change it nor you nor anyone, but hey, it is easier to take holier than thou attitude. For such people, I would say don't come here and tell all your acquaintances of real as well as made up stories about India and tell them not to come also.
