From a scientific POV it simply not true. The MORE people you have, the MORE chances you have of choosing someone that has the ability to bowl faster, spin better, better hand eye co-ordination and have greater cricketing/sporting ability. The fact that Pakistan has historically produced players that have defeated an opponent that has been at least 7x greater than us in population numbers, which has given us an overall better cricketing record vis-a-vis india is a phenomenonal achievement on our behalf. It says a lot. But at the present moment in time, Pakistan is going through it's worst period in it's cricket history in terms of quality of players produced.

I can't tell you how terrible and ridiculous your logic is.
Sports have mainly to do with the physical build of people, population size is irrelevant. Malnourished people can't do their best, the reason is quite obvious. And India is a developing country with millions of malnourished people. So not all of them are fit enough to compete.
Black people (certain subgroups among them) run the fastest- it's a clear cut undeniable fact. Why is that? It's simply because they evolved that way, it's biology. Take a brown guy, white guy and black guy and train them all the same. The black guy is likely to win because of his build, nothing that the white guy or brown guy can do about it.
Will it matter that I have 1 billion white people? No, because they aren't built well enough for running like the black man.
Population doesn't matter at all. There are some traits that favors Indians, and some that favor Westerners, and some that favor Africans etc.
And India needs to spend money on development too, there isn't free money to be thrown in for sports all the time.
And cricket isn't the only sport where India can beat them. We've won the most medals in field hockey at the Olympics. And our female badminton team is ahead of most Western countries.
And as the country progresses, there will surely be more success.

India should play the match and just on the verge of victory , like 1 run to win or 1 wkt of Pakistans remaining , forfeit the match in a obvious manner.
This will prove we are better and also our stand on cross border terror will be highlighted.
