Nothing surprising
After decades karachiites voted for a party that had its PM in Islamabad. And this is the result

You have allowed PPP for FAR TOO long.
People will start hating you as well if you don't do something.

This article does not give the federal government authority to "take over" the province. It gives them authority to "give directions" to the provincial government to act, leaving the provincial government in place.Tired of hearing this 'pTi DoESnT HaVe AuThoRiTy iN KaRachI yEw kNoW'
Read this Article 149 from the constitution of Pakistan
It was not expected to be honest.
This govt could have imposed governor rule. And people of Karachi know all the gimmicks. If they try to do something in the last few months to impress us, the results will be worst.
I don't think people of Karachi will be accepted as citizens ever.. So better if they don't vote for anyone in the next elections.
well, i guess karachites can either wait or vote for PPPP/MQM like they did before , i bet PPPP will help KarachiIs tarah k topi dramai karain gai to yehi hoga

No vote.. Because even if a new party emerges, there's an unannounced rule that a non Sindhi can't become a CM. Without CM ship, you can't do Jack in Karachi.phir tana diya jata hei ke mqm ko vote detay thai. ab ager hum compare karey pehley ka waqt aur ab ka waqt kaun sa behter tha? kaun awaz uthata tha? new ko vote dia wo tou bas topi drama kar raha so what other option left for karachities?
they should they never voted for ppp yet they rule karachi so what's the pointwell, i guess karachites can either wait or vote for PPPP/MQM like they did before , i bet PPPP will help Karachi
those crimianl were put in place with help of educated jiyalas sitting in karachi,This article does not give the federal government authority to "take over" the province. It gives them authority to "give directions" to the provincial government to act, leaving the provincial government in place.
The problem is that the federal government can give direction all it wants, but if the courts are not willing to enforce these directions, then there is nothing that the federal government can do.
Your anger should really be directed at the courts. They are very quick to take "suo moto" actions on the most inconsequential things, but remain paralyzed on important issues. Justice Gulzar goes on rants about Karachi every other day, and even gives ridiculous orders to operationalize the KCR, or ML1, or whatever within a year or two. Why does he not order the provincial government to devolve power, and release funds for the municipal governments, and threaten them with serious consequences if they don't?
The other thing that you have to consider is that the government is essentially dealing with a criminal organization. Zardari and his gang have repeatedly threatened that any move to remove them would be seen as a move against Sindh. From our perspective, that makes no sense because all of Sindh, not just Karachi, is suffering because of them. But the "establishment" has to seriously assess the real damage these people could do to the state, the city of Karachi, and the economy of the country.
If the federal government moves the army and takes over by force, these people could go militant. If Karachi becomes a battleground with bomb blasts, and shootings, it will paralyze the city, causing harm not only to residents of the city, but to the whole country's economy.
This is a really tricky situation, and the government has to be more shrewd than the criminals holding Sindh. We have to be patient.
That's correct leave country for good if one can.No vote.. Because even if a new party emerges, there's an unannounced rule that a non Sindhi can't become a CM. Without CM ship, you can't do Jack in Karachi.
Better leave the city and move on with your lives.
