lol. Can't have your cake and eat it too. Maybe you should settle someplace quiet, Northside.

.
If we remember correctly same happened with Musharaf during Lal masjid crisis. Hamid Mir, talat Hussain and other begged and ask him to do something about these people during a press conference in NDU. now these so called champions of journalism are speaking for the Mullah Brothers. You can't rely on these journalists their loyalty changes with each passing day.

No ones denying the problems but to ask Khan to fix Karachi in 5 years in just plain disingenious.
Some progress is a reasonable expectation over 5 years. However, 2 years in, Karachi has regressed further under PTI's rule.

Why you see this surprising? While this quote is not been applied anywhere else in pakistan? Why its always settling in karachi leaving their home town?

You didn't answer my question.

Also have you ever seen anyone from anyother place whinging about whos living in their area? I am Pukhtoon and a 3rd generation Karachitte and i am proud of both. My family moved to Karachi way before Pakistan was formed, but all my life i encountered people like you who told me to go back to Peshawar. Like other Pukhtoon families, my family was always harassed by MQM goons and then ANP came in to take advantage of this but me and none from my family wanted anything to do with them because we don't believe in spreading division among the people. But people like you always cry about being discriminated against and that everyone hates you. Its true everyone hates people like you but not because of your background but because of your constant rona dhona, especially against interior Sindh. Majority of Karachites have never been to interior Sindh, but i have and i can tell you Karachi is a Janat as compared to Interior Sindh.

As for why people are settling in Karachi? Well last time i checked, Karachi was part of Pakistan and if so Pakistanis are settling in another Pakistani city, whats wrong with that? You can move to Lahore, Islamabad, Multan, Quetta etc etc whos stopping you?

And this is for everyone else who is whinging about Karachi. Try make a difference yourself instead of waiting for someone else to come and fix your problems. The best example is Alamgir Khan from Fixit. He made a difference on his own. There is a famous saying, "when there's a will there's a way"

Ok. Let me quit my job and work and start cleaning the streets of Karachi like you said. Your statement is full of flaws.

Not everyone has khandaani wealth or well settled to head out to street and do welfare works.

Most people in Karachi live hand to mouth, wagers and salary dependents.

People pay taxes for a reason, Karachi has highest tax payer and revenue generation. It's federal/provincial govt job to maintain things which they both failed.

When you fail to give due rights to people, Bangladesh happens.

where people are selling land meant for irrigation to housing schemes and come live in concrete jungle for the dream?

in 10 years every inch of Karachi will be worth in gold.

sindh na devsun !!

As i said previously when there is a will there is a way, and let me add another saying "lazy people will always come up with excuses".

I am sure i am wasting my time on you but let me atleast try.

1. You dont need to quit your job to stop spiting on the street and educating others to stop it.
2. You dont need to quit your job to stop littering and prevent others from littering.
3. You dont need to quit your job to clean the street in front of your own house.
4. You dont need to quit your job to follow road rules and stop flashing and honkin.
5. You dont need to quit your job to stop bribing, or using sifarish or breaking queue lines.
6. You dont need to quit your job to teach people to read and write for an hour once a week.

I can go on and on about the things you can do today, instead of acting like the street beggers wanting someone else to fix everything for you instantly.

As for threating like Bangladesh, you guys are too lazy for that too.

Hate to admit but you're not wrong. Unless the government forces a one child policy, things will remain the same.

They've been threatening like that for time immemorial. Hallmark of lazy people.

So how did you make an assumption that I dont do any of the things you mentioned?

The judgement of yours is coming out from singled out bad experience you had which is unfortunate. You don't need go generalize and paint all Karachiites as 'lazy'

The people of Karachi in general want change and willing to change as you witnessed in 2013 and 2018 elections. They voted for PTI, even women.

If PTI cant fix the woes of Karachi then 14 its MNAs should resign.

In which area of Karachi you live? You claim to be better than rest of people here

First of all its not an assumption, its a fact. If everyone was doing the right thing then Karachi would not be such a mess.

Secondly i never claimed to be better than anyone, infact i was probably the worst when i was young. But by living overseas i have learned alot.

I am from DHA near badar commercial KFC.
