Personally, wanted to see this general as the COAS. His knowledge and analysis is brilliant. He should have been NSA at least.

Do you understand world politics? You can't blame Pakistan army for the mess in the whole world.
Daesh and I.C.I.C are created by western world and there is strong evidence of that.

Most of the support of ISIS or the rebels comes from muslim countries surrounding syria. So, who supports or who created becomes a secondary issue.

The whole world now have negative view of Islam and Muslims especially after the horrific incidents in Paris. Pakistan has contributed to this problem by supporting the granddaddy of Daesh, the Talibans who hosted the Al Qaeeda. These stupid Army Generals have shamed Pakistan and Islam and indirectly caused Peshawar tragedy too by ignoring Talibans in Pakistan. They dont care about Islam or Pakistan and they have their of illogical plan of "strategic depth". Nobody can dare to criticize these idiots without being labeled anti-Pakistan when they themselves have proven to be anti-Islam and anti-Pakistan !!

It is time to put Pakistan first not some rag tag miltants from Afghanistan. Why do some people constantlty talk about good and bad Talibans ? There are no good Talibans !

Yes.. He would have been a brillaint choice as NSA but Nawaz Sharif would never appoint him as NSA.. He was one of those, who were blamed by the govt for dharna..though he in this interview explained his position clearly, tht he was only discussing diff possible worst scenarios with the COAS, as the senior most corp commander , and tht it was his duty to give critique to the COAS and prepare him for the worst... But, we know, Nawaz sharif would have never even thought of appointing him as NSA... But Gen Janjua is also a very good choice as NSA.. Just hope, Gen Janjua is allowed to work freely by Nawaz govt
