Washingtonpost: Straight out of the Nazi playbook’: Hindu try to engineer ‘genius’ babies in India

Proper prenatal care could increase IQ (1-5pts.) and height. Skin color won't change unless it's a new mutation or the baby is albino.

However, a good shortcut is European and Far East Asian sperm donors. :agree:

PS: Pseudoscience only works on TV and movies.

The debate isn't about good prenatal care which is undoubtedly vital for women's health and has its benefits. Its the other hocus pocus which includes "[conception] time decided by planetary configurations" that is irksome, to say the least.

As for IQ, I'm not a believer. The correlation between intelligence (What type of intelligence?) and IQ tests has been questioned. Add Flynn effect to that debate and things become more convoluted. Above all, the domain of intelligence is no longer exclusive to human beings. Machine intelligence has surpassed us in many ways and all indicators point to a future dominated by MI/AI. And then there is the biological argument which further dents human intelligence. Creativity, on the other hand, I can get behind.

Spend some effort and do fact checking, just do not believe on news available in Altnews, QUINT, PRINT, DAILYO, NEWSLaundary specially.

I don't have to "believe" Altnews, they have documented and published their evidence. Meanwhile, OpIndia has a track record of publishing fake news.

Come on. We all know. Hindus are Nazis.

Too soon. :partay: :partay: :partay:

No medical expert in a Western country would ever suggest the following:

...the procedure for a such a perfect child according to the Garbh Sanskar program is three months of “shuddhikaran (purification)” for parents, intercourse at a time decided by planetary configurations, complete abstinence after the baby is conceived, and procedural and dietary regulations. According to Indian Express, Dr Hitesh Jani, national convener, Arogya Bharati, claimed that this program could produce tall and fair babies.

Obviously the Western countries have their own method and religious organisations would have their own method. Are we saying everything should be followed only as per Western methodology?

In fact all babies are scored at birth for perfect babies called Apgar scores. Then there are various different coaching classes parents send their children to produce geniuses.

You cant give proper nutrition to the new born and soon to be mothers but want them to learn mantras? What is this?

They are a private organisation and will do what is in their capacity and as per their organizational belief. They did suggest diets for mothers too in their prescription, did they not? It is not like they are forcing women on starvation diets and forcing them to recite mantras for them to have killed your ideology of India.

It is normal for many households to have religious songs played in their houses in the morning. Do you go to every house in the morning and say that they are killing the ideology of India because they are playing their religious songs? Do you go and question them that women are starving all over India so how dare they play their religious songs?

Pro-Dharma? Sure. Lets go with that. :partay:

On a side note, OpIndia's leading story is hilarious: Left-Cong establishment aligned journalists attack Arnab, defame even private citizens
Here is a Public apology from the source which carried this news in the first place.

What role does the "planetary configurations" play in conception? Do you get a bonus for that in Apgar scores?

What next? ICJ stays Kulbhushan’s hanging?

What role does the "planetary configurations" play in conception?

What role does Sun play in there being life on Earth? What role does moon play in the rhythms of human body? Do you agree that these are verified celestial bodies that do affect human lives and all lives on the planet? So what makes you think other planets and their geometry would not have any effect on the web of the cosmos and life in it?

You have to be out and about to enjoy the Sun and get a dose of Vitamin D along with UVB-rays.

Again, what role does the "planetary configurations" play in conception? Do you get a bonus for that in Apgar scores?

For ICJ case let me give a link to a left wing site.

From where Pakistan stands, it seems like Mr. Jadhav has the blood of thousands of innocent civilians on his hands.

Oh so Vitamin D is the only thing which Sun gifts us, huh? It has no role to play in sustaining life energy on Earth like making plant life possible by providing light energy which then forms the basic fuel for everything else which lives and Earth's climatic conditions which makes life possible, right.

The very fertility of a woman is dependent and aligned to the cycle of the moon. So tell me if there is no lunar cycle is fertility possible? If there is no fertility, is conception possible?

No, Apgar score is Western methodology which has not yet caught up with Indic science.
