LOL no it doesn't have anything to do with madrasis the word mirasi (marasi) is derived from arabic word miraas which literally means legacy and miraasi ( or more commonly known as marasi) means someone with a legacy. This word didn't used to be derogatory at all but at some point a long time ago street artists who did not have any knowledge of their cast just started calling themselves miraasi, these people would go from house to house singing or playing music to earn money and after that this term became derogatory. If you need to insult someone now you say that you're a marassi, and stage drama comedy actors who insult each others also call themselves marasi so basically if you need to say that someone is a joker in urdu you just say that you're a marassi.
