Pakistan army does not understand 5th generation warfare. The only countries who can advice us on fighting this very dangerous war are Iran and China. Pakistan security forces breeds traitors to appear more western and gain brownie points. They need to understand the importance of pest control.

On the contrary the Army needs to mind its own business and stop meddling in the affairs of every darn organization and institution in the country. The country has been in this sad state of affairs precisely because of the meddling of the Army high command, overtly or covertly! They are the reason that none of the other pillars could grow strong and independent (Judiciary, Bureaucracy etc.).

It is NOT in the scope of the Army to create and breed traitors or to take action against them. There are other agencies/institutions which need to be made autonomous and free from political and military arm wrangling so that we too become a proper country like the Western Countries.

All our superior patriots enjoy their service lives in Pakistan and then fly off to Dubai, Australia, England or the US, perhaps after transferring their patriotism to those who assume command after these superior patriots have served their tenures (including extensions)!!!

Basically, we need to strengthen all the other institutions and organizations so that they know when to say "F*** Off" when they are being told to do something illegal/unconstitutional. I would give an example of the Indian Army and how irrelevant the senior most Army officers become after retirement whereas in Pakistan every darned institute is headed by and full of retired Army officers. Basically, every little and big thing is being run by the Army, directly or through their retired officers. This is not a good strategy. Good or bad the institutions must be rid of all retired (and serving) Army officers......eventually all these institutions will grow strong and independent.

Countries like the US, UK etc., too must have gone through similar pains/teething problems before they corrected their mistakes and became leaders of the world. Otherwise make the Army chief the head of the state and that too will end the cat and mouse game and give Pakistan a clear strategy.

Actually you people are blinded by one sided propaganda of anti state elements. Dont put the blame on one side. The other side is as much a culprit. Who buys and influences judges in LWhore high court to give an example. The dynasties are much more responsible. If you have problem with army people getting jobs, open your eyes every f**king department is filled with political workers from top to bottom and armys share is the least. If Army does not maintain influence than your country will become a monarchy, and will have anarchy among dynasties.

Terrorists knows which court to appeal, imagine a terrorist who killed children and soldiers or some anti state propaganda apologist is presented infront of someone like Qazi Esa, he would take it as an oppurtunity to hurt the state. Remember the highcourts releasing terrorists.

The dynasties are the real problem in the way of independent institutions. Your own political parties are not democraric, do you really think they will allow democratic institutions.

The system in Pakistan has to be replaced.

Your point that it is counterproductive, in reality procecuting them is counterproductive, you make them victims. The enemy has carefully crafted a network of agents in media and social influencers whose exact purpose is to use these peocecutions against state. I understand your point and why you are saying this. My only disagreement was that its a different world now. The approach you suggested might work in the short term but its not saleable as there always will be a counter narrative. The approach I would like to see is long term--use danda on judiciary to fix them.
Though it requires a long term commitment and a LOT of reform but our future generations will reap its benefits.

Fine, so Washington Post didn't publish your rejoinder. So now take Washington Post in front of the relevant US body that oversees the conduct of news outlets. If that doesn't work, take them to court. Use every single means to win over them.

This is a pattern of behavior shown by traitors in Pakistan. Use antagonistic steps by foreign actors as an excuse for no further action. Whereas there are many avenues for further action, all the way till assassination. This is how you project your power. But when you are agents of foreign powers, you will never take any steps against your own masters.

Who cares? They refused to publish a rebuttal to their piece by our Minister. They lost their claim to any credibility.
