Army SHOULD NOT interefer!! They wont as far as i can see!

It is not only you---my pakistani brethren say---" army should not interfere---the current terrorists say---you trained us in the past---we were mujahideen at that time---now we still think that we are---so the army must not interfere.

See---how devious this concept of non interference of army is---.

When you have military rule for around 45 years and 25 years of civilian rule in broken terms---then you must have military in parallel in guiding the civilians in running the country.

And to control them---the judiciary needs to have a very keen eye on the workings of both.

The army just simply cannot wash its hand off from the daily workings of the state---.

Sir when i said "army should not interfere" the post i quoted was about a coup!! Army must not interfere at that level.
As for "guiding the civilians in running he country" i, personally, agree! However the problem is that none of the civilian governments will agree to it and the public, a vast majority of them will be miss guided by the gov. and the media and any little interference of army will be labeled as anti-democracy. You know that democracy is in fashion these days so people will be paranoid by the mere mention of any role of army in government even if it is for the betterment of the state. Unless there are more and more people like you and me, army is likely to try and keep there hands clean.

That is another big issue! we need a revolution but than i see what happened in Libya & Syria...

Days or revolutions are long gone. The world have invested interests and anything, any little thing that is abnormal will be exploited by other forces. We do not want to end up the way the Arab countries did. Things were exploited there!
