Wahab Riaz and Pakistani speed demons

Not really professional by Wahab Riaz, it was a bit cheating aggressively over the shoulders.

he is just worst ever bowler, he kept doing over the shoulders, not directly to the wickets bowling out or LBWWWW like Wasim and Waqar.

Shukr hai australia se har gaya agar india se harta to zeada dukh hota. :P

.
How so???
He faced a ban
Spent time in Jail
Was made an example out of
Basically paid for what he did
We can't say the same for others in our country including some ex-cricketers who just got off simply with just a name in a report
Bro, check our cricketing history....don't wanna waste bandwidth here...let me repeat it again...he paid for what he did on personal level...but who is gonna pay that loss from which Pakistan cricket suffered as a whole during last 5 years...?? Imagin these 2 bowlers in WC 2011 during the semi final against India at Mohali...things would have been totally different than....!! Can they pay the loss ?? Can they pay for the disrespect, mockery they made outa their dishonesty and greed and the bad made headlines in the entire international print and electronic media ?? How easy it's for you to say that they have paid for their mistake...either you are totally insensitive to the entire picture or you are so blind in Amir's love that you are ready to ignore every single detail of huge catastrophe they inflicted upon our entire cricketing structure...!! If Amir returns to national team...Pakistani cricket ka Allah he Hafiz...!! No second chances for convicts...!! Sorry..!!

Yes newton,s third law of motion was applied on watson today.

.
Muhammad Amir should never be the part of National Team again...!!

May I ask you one thing? I agree with your argument though.

If our people can elect Zardari, MQM and other crooks and criminals again and again, why such strict standard for a cricketer who has served his sentence?

As I said I agree with your argument. But we need to enforce this zero tolerance and strict scrutiny at some other level first.

Wahab and Watson sanctioned by ICC

Wahab Riaz and Shane Watson have both been sanctioned by the ICC for their part in a fiery and memorable confrontation in the quarter-final between Australia and Pakistan at Adelaide Oval.

Wahab was fined 50% of his match fee for his demonstrative behaviour towards Watson, including an extended follow through that often took him eyeball to eyeball with the Australia allrounder, clapping provocatively in his face and acting in a generally aggressive manner.

Watson was reprimanded 15% for goading Wahab in the first instance, and then retaliating with verbals during the latter stages of his innings, which grew from the shakiest of beginnings to help guide Australia into the semi-finals and a meeting with India in Sydney.

Both players accepted their sanctions without the need for a full hearing, though neither man is likely to regret a passage of play that will be talked about for years to come.

The two men shared a hand shake and warm words at the end of the match, and Wahab told ESPNcricinfo that he harboured no ill feeling towards Watson nor Mitchell Starc, who spoke the first words in a series of exchanges that began when Wahab was batting.

Australia were understood to be somewhat disgruntled at the charge against Watson but thought it less of a distraction if it was accepted. The umpires are believed to have indicated they did not hear exactly what Watson said to Wahab, only that it was inflammatory.

Wahab has stated Watson said "you don't have a bat in your hand", prompting him to respond in kind when bowling.

"It was a game, it was fun, it was an exchange of words," Wahab said on Saturday. "In the end hats off to him, he played well.

"You have seen me shaking hands and congratulating Shane Watson as well, so it was just a part of the game and when the game is finished you are friends outside.

"We have to accept we lost and they won, so we have to congratulate them. At the end I said to him well played, that's it."

The ICC chief executive David Richardson and head of operations Geoff Allardice had both flagged a toughening of behavioural obligations for players ahead of the Cup, which has seen few such instances of open hostility.

However there is some frustration among competing teams about how the interpretation of the rules appears to change at higher profile ICC events as opposed to the usual rounds of bilateral series.

Bowling was never, is not, and probably never will be a problem.

Pakistan lacks quality batsmen and decent fielders.

1/3 will not win you a world cup.

I've never so much even held a bat in my life. You never know, I might just have been the next Javed Miandad!

Must admit that the match was like Wahab vs Australia...Pakistani fielders didn't support him....butter fingers missed crucial catches.

I don't understand you blaming him for the loss in Mohali
He was banned from playing at that point for his involvement in that saga and rightfully so
You are contradicting yourself by at first wishing him not to be seen in Pakistan colors and than at the same time cursing him for not being available
And yes do plz check our cricketing history
Go through the Justice Qayuum report
Where our legends from the 90's were accused of fixing matches i.e deliberately losing !
You have those players being given the utmost respect by our people knowing in the back of our minds what dirty business they were involved in !
Amir was caught deliberately bowling a no-ball not throwing away a match as they had done !
And again he admitted to his mistake and even spent time in Jail for that.....he deserves a second chance
